[name]Laurence[/name] is my preferred spelling (like actor Sir [name]Laurence[/name] [name]Olivier[/name]:)). I think it just looks better with a “u”.

[name]Laurence[/name] for me, as well! It feels softer, less harsh. It has a more French air, as well, to it.

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Laurence[/name] is lovely!

I love the name [name]Laurence[/name] and love it spelled [name]Laurence[/name]. [name]Lawrence[/name] is nice too but it seems more like a last name than a first name.

I like [name]Lawrence[/name] better. [name]Laurence[/name] looks a little feminine to me by appearance. Take off the “c” and the “e” at the end and you get “[name]Lauren[/name]”. That’s my preference on the spelling, I love the name!

I like both, but I guess my preference would be [name]Lawrence[/name]. I know a [name]Lawson[/name] who gets called [name]Law[/name] a lot, so I can imagine that nickname.

thanks all

ty…I think you are right about [name]Lawrence[/name] looking more masculine

[name]Lawrence[/name] of [name]Arabia[/name]
