Opinions on it? I know there are literary/film characters like the one from [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] and the one from [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], but I’m not too hesitant because of those. Other kids are [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. Would another nature name leave [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] out or am I overthinking it?

I think that it goes great with the other kid names! I don’t think that [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] would feel left out, plus only [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] have V in them so that could be there special connection! It’s not my fave name, but I definitely think that it’s useable! I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but it sounds a bit like a soap with the [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I would say my fave is [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f]!
I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]—it’s on my list as a middle for [name_f]Ayla[/name_f]. [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] is fantastic too! I do like the idea of potentially swapping it—[name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]? That way [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] wouldn’t be left out, as you say, and while I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], it still doesn’t feel terribly namey to me, and just feel it’s more usable as a middle. I guess she could go by [name_u]Avi[/name_u] or [name_f]Ava[/name_f], or maybe even something like [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] as a stretch, but I prefer it as a middle myself. [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] would be equally gorgeous, I think? Something like [name_u]Vivien[/name_u] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Zora[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], or [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] would work beautifully with [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_u]Fox[/name_u]!
I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]! For a botanical name, it’s very underused. I think it goes well with the names of your other children, even [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].

I also think [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] works perfectly with [name_u]Fox[/name_u], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. Also because of [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]’s meaning I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] definitely feels nature inspired.

My first thought was [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and I don’t think that’s bad at all! People who don’t know the meaning might not think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] ‘matches’ but if she does it’s not a big deal! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite middle is [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f].
Since [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] has a nature related meaning I think it’s not an issue if all her siblings have word nature names.
I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]! And I think the literary associations help to make it more familiar.
While it was never the most popular flower/herb name, it has a long history of usage. And it seems perfect in your set!
