I really like this name with the nickname [name_u]Love[/name_u] or [name_f]Lovey[/name_f] but am I saying it right? Luh-[name_m]VIN[/name_m]-ya [name_m]How[/name_m] would you say it and do you like the name?
I like [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] a lot, too, and pronounce it the same way. [name_u]Love[/name_u] or [name_f]Lovey[/name_f] would indeed be very sweet, and the name in full form is so elegant, feminine and sleek. It makes me think of vintage silk dresses and rose bouquets.
I say La-[name_m]VIN[/name_m]-ee-a. I think [name_u]Love[/name_u] or [name_f]Lovey[/name_f] is darling. It’s definitely one of my guilty pleasure names (because DH would never go for it)
I say it luh-vin-ya, like you do.
well I’d be naturally inclined to say lah-VEE-nee-yah because that is how it would be pronounced in my native language, but in English I’d probably call her luh-vin-ya too, although I think the former pronunciation is prettier. It’s such a beautiful name! I also like the nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f] / [name_f]Livvy[/name_f] for it.
I’d pronounce it Lah-vinn-ee-a, so four syllables. I really like the nickname [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] for it and the full name is simply gorgeous.
I pronounce [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] as lah-vin-ee-uh. I think it’s a very pretty name. [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_f]Lovey[/name_f] are very cute as nns. I also like [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] and [name_f]Vinia[/name_f].
I say it Lah-vin-ee-uh. I think [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] is an elegant choice and a bit of a GP for me:)
