Law & Justice Names?

Does anyone know of any names that might represent justice and/or equilibrium? (besides the very obvious name that is simply the word [name_u]Justice[/name_u] lol)

To broaden the search, I also wouldn’t be opposed to names that mean war/vengeance as vengeance is a cousin to justice and sometimes war is needed to achieve peace.

The only name I can think of that fits in the “[name_u]Golden[/name_u] Area” (basically meaning all of the above) is [name_f]Athena[/name_f]. But I’m sort of getting… I don’t want to say “bored” of [name_f]Athena[/name_f] but I’d like to have at least a few more options to look at.

Maybe a variant of [name_u]Mars[/name_u] or [name_m]Ares[/name_m]?

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f]
[name_f]Marcia[/name_f]
Marcelline
[name_f]Justine[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Themis[/name_f]

[name_u]Justice[/name_u] is such a broad, subjective, and interesting theme, and I think many categories of name suit.

Supreme [name_m]Court[/name_m] Justices:
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonya[/name_f]
[name_f]Sandra[/name_f]

Meaning:
[name_f]Alissia[/name_f]
Hadiyah
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_f]Astrea[/name_f]
Adila (means honest and just)
[name_f]Evanne[/name_f] (by some accounts, means “a great fighter.”)
Aamilah

“Equal”:
[name_f]Naya[/name_f]
Evalie
Adilah

Nabhya

After [name_f]Justine[/name_f], the second name that comes to mind is [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] or Cosmia, which derives from Greek kosmos meaning “order, decency”.

[name_f]Themis[/name_f] means “law of nature, divine law, that which is laid down” in Greek, and Dike means “justice”; there are many longer Greek names containing these elements, including [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f] (wide justice), Laodice (justice of the people), Themistoclea (glory of the law), Themisto (belonging to the law), and Chrysothemis (golden law).

Judika or Judica is a rare [name_m]German[/name_m] name (yoo-[name_f]DEE[/name_f]-kah) taken from the Latin word judica “judge!” (imperative); “Judica [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]” is the name of the fifth [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] of Lent, after the first word of the entrance antiphon used on that day.

[name_m]Lawson[/name_m] means son of…the law?
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] means (or can mean) blind and might be a good name in reference to blind justice.
I like the suggestion of [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
A virtue name like verity maybe?

[name_f]Astraea[/name_f], [name_f]Eirene[/name_f] and [name_f]Inanna[/name_f] are some other goddesses associated with justice.

I second the virtue name idea. Also maybe a name that would be associated with fairness or wisdom.

[name_f]Verity[/name_f]
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Justine[/name_f]/[name_f]Justina[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Liberty[/name_f]
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]

Evalie
[name_f]Evanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Libra[/name_f]
[name_f]Naya[/name_f]
Adeelah
Annalysa
[name_f]Atlanta[/name_f]
[name_f]Justine[/name_f]
[name_m]Judge[/name_m]

I know this one is very out there but I’ve always loved the name [name_f]Libra[/name_f], which of course is represented by scales.
