I’m not sure if she counts as a celebrity, but feminist activist and blogger [name]Jessica[/name] Valenti had a baby girl a few days ago. The baby’s full name is [name]Layla[/name] Sorella Valenti-Golis.
I like it, but then, I’m a big fan of the L sound. I’m guessing Sorella was chosen for its Italian meaning, sister. I think it’s a cute nod to the feminist idea of sisterhood, and yet the -ella ending…of course…makes it seem name-y.
