Hey guys! Not expecting, just a collecting kind of thing right now.
What are your thoughts on [name_f]Leanne[/name_f]? I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for it, and I feel like it fits nicely with [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u], etc. (which seem to be my favourites right now) but I also know [name_f]Leanne[/name_f] is kind of, super dated/tied to one decade.
Could [name_f]Leanne[/name_f] still work today? Any suggestions for similar names?
Thanks!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there, I really like [name_f]Leanne[/name_f] but I prefer it spelled [name_f]Lianne[/name_f]. Not entirely sure why (maybe because one of my favorirte musicians, [name_f]Lianne[/name_f] La Havas, spells it that way? Maybe I just like the way it looks? That spelling might alter pronunciation too though.) Anyway I think it is a very sweet name (either spelling!) and could still work today! Similar names I like are [name_u]Leigh[/name_u], or [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_u]Anne[/name_u], and [name_f]Lena[/name_f]!

I think it’s beautiful! It’s a very soft, gentle sounding name! I know a [name_f]Leanna[/name_f], which is also lovely.

Agree with pp’s that [name_f]Leanna[/name_f]/ [name_f]Liana[/name_f] is a nice update.
I really like the name! If it didn’t feel a little dated it’d be in my list, I think it has a nice sound and cute nicknames. I prefer the [name_f]Lianne[/name_f] spelling though, I find it prettier and more feminine!
I didn’t think about it, but I love the name [name_f]Leanne[/name_f]. There is only one [name_f]Leanne[/name_f] whom I have ever known in person, and she’s a coworker of mine, in her… late 40s, maybe?
She’s a very respectable, A-personality woman. She’s driven. She’s from Australia!
I also love the name [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], by the way.
Those names both “flow.” I’m personally not as much of a fan of “hardness” in the other names, but that’s just my style. I think what also contributes to my opinion is that I haven’t personally known any Stephanies, Kellies or Kimberlies close to my heart. That would heavily contribute to my opinion.
([name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I had a best friend named [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] in middle school, and we ultimately fell through. I also had a very respectable classmate in college named [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]. Of those three names, I prefer [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]…)
Maybe that helped shed some random stranger’s insight a little. Good luck
