Has anyone had a LEEP procedure done before? If so, what was your experience? I have to get one done on March 14th, & I am very nervous. They are putting me to sleep for it, which scares me a bit since I have heart problems. Is there any reason for me to be nervous about this?
I have never had it before, but a friend of mine has and she’s never expressed that it was a particularly awful experience. It didn’t leave a significant lasting impression, which I think in itself should be reassuring.
I’m sure they wouldn’t be putting you to sleep if they felt it was a particularly high risk because of your heart condition.
