I’m not of fan of [name_u]Rey[/name_u] or [name_f]Lia[/name_f] (although maybe they will grow on me). I also think [name_f]Lili[/name_f] could work as a nickname. [name_f]Aura[/name_f] just doesn’t seem like it rolls off my tongue easily enough to use as a nickname.
For cutesy nns, I like Moony which I got from [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]’s connection to the [name_f]Moon[/name_f] Jelly. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is cute too.
What are your thoughts? Are there any other options for [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]? Thanks!
My [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (one of my top choices too) will likely be [name_f]Aura[/name_f], Auli ([name_u]Ollie[/name_u]?), Aulia or another nickname I get from combining with the middles. Moony is cute but seems like a huge stretch. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is another that I like.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Leia[/name_f] would definitely work! It’s more intuitive if you pronounce [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] au-[name_u]RAY[/name_u]-lee-ah rather than au-[name_f]REE[/name_f]-lee-ah, but you could use [name_f]Leia[/name_f] with either pronunciation.
@books_and_tea: A fellow Slytherin! Part of what we love about [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is the pop culture nicknames we would get to use We love [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars but we are even bigger HP fans so Moony would just be a fun and special nickname to give her while [name_f]Leia[/name_f] could be her general nn that anyone could call her
@bonfireazalea: au-[name_u]RAY[/name_u]-lee-ah is exactly how we would pronounce it
