I desperately wish [name_m]Leif[/name_m] (pronounced LAYF) was a unisex name. To me it sounds lovely on either a boy or a girl, phonetically. Looking at the responses though it looks like it would be a big controversy. Sigh I wonder if there is a female version of the name?
I actually think it could work well for a girl. I prefer it over [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] or other boys names that people have used for girls lately. The more i think about it [name_m]Leif[/name_m] is actually a pretty name. Sad so many people are so rude about it.
Wow! Not used to so much rudeness on this site⦠everybody take a breath:)
This is an old thread. But itās proof that the madness never ends.
Haha:) Like the saying goes⦠āwe are all mad hereāā¦
I donāt see the problem.
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u] is a girl name for me, but I met guys with this one.
Sorry, but [name_m]Leif[/name_m] is pronounced [name_u]Leaf[/name_u] or Life (depednding on which languageās phobetics u use). If you want Layf, its either spelled: Layf, Layfe, [name_m]Laif[/name_m], or Laife. Or LĆ©if.
I would not use [name_m]Leif[/name_m] on a girl.
Poor girlā¦
