How do you pronounce the name Leila?
Do you think using Leila as lie-la will work?
What do you think of the name?
Lila doesn’t work for me because in my home country it would be lee-la and Lyla would be lee-la or lü-la.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] very much says “lay-la” to me. Would [name_f]Laila[/name_f] work for “lie-la” where you live?
It would, but for some reason [name_f]Leila[/name_f] is so gorgeous to me whereas [name_f]Laila[/name_f] just looks okay.
But I think in [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking countries people will say lay-la for [name_f]Laila[/name_f] too so it’s the same problem.
Lay-luh is how I’d pronounce it and but lie-luh could work since that’s a legitimate Arabic pronunciation.
