Leiluna? To different? Other suggestions?
Middle names?
[name_f]My[/name_f] fiance suggested it so [name_f]Luna[/name_f] would be nicknames
It’s pretty, but seems like a pretty blatant smush name of [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]
Leiluna sounds nice, but I’m not the biggest fan, sorry.
Here are other ways to get to the nickname [name_f]Luna[/name_f]:
[name_f]Calluna[/name_f]
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Luciana[/name_f]
[name_f]Luminosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lunette[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Lurana[/name_f]
[name_f]Lurena[/name_f]
[name_f]Eluana[/name_f]
[name_f]Altalune[/name_f]
[name_f]Iluminada[/name_f]
Calluna was my first thought! I got it added to the nameberry website! It’s the botanical name for the plant heather and I think it’s so pretty! It’s pronounced “cah-luna”
I think it sounds a bit made up, why not just go for [name_f]Luna[/name_f] instead?
Is [name_f]Lunetta[/name_f] [name_f]Raelynn[/name_f] pretty? We like that one too
Not sure my input is relevant but Luneta is an actual word in Spanish which is the name of some m&ms like sweets and also the seating area of a theatre
How about Lunaria, like the flower?
Yes, I came here to suggest this too! Lunaria is beautiful. Leiluna has a pretty sound, but I agree with others that it seems so blatantly a mix of [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. But honestly, I don’t think that’s a deal-breaker—I do like the sound! [name_f]Lunetta[/name_f] is nice.
I like it! It’s very sweet, fun and interesting!
[name_f]Leilani[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] would create amazing names.
I actually like it! It reminds me of Leliana from Dragon Age.
I like the suggestions of [name_f]Calluna[/name_f] and Lunaria too, and would like to add Rosaluna. It’s a smush name, but I still find it really pretty.
To be honest, many of those names sound like a mash up too like [name_f]Calluna[/name_f] is [name_f]Cally[/name_f] + [name_f]Luna[/name_f], which I’ve never heard of either. I read Leiluna and really liked the sound of it. Having said that, [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is a great stand alone name.
I stumbled upon this post and this website completely by accident by typing my daughter’s name into the web browser. Her name is Leiluna [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I absolutely love her name. And yes, her nickname is [name_f]Luna[/name_f].
A lot of people love her name, some people don’t know how to take it. But I will tell you this-it’s not new. Google Leiluna and you will find it in several places-including a clothing company that produces high-quality, beautiful dresses.
It is a very unique name! We absolutely cherish it. If you and your husband like the name-choose it.
Oh-it seems I missed the date this post was published before I responded. Still, I’m glad I did.
