We team green for our baby due this summer, and while we’re 100% set on a boy’s name, we’re majorly struggling with girls names! We have it narrowed down to three:
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] would be after my great grandma. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] has no family connection whatsoever, we just didn’t like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] as a middle name for [name_u]Eden[/name_u], and this was my husband’s suggestion.
We are keeping our names a surprise until the birth, but we are definitely needing some outside input since we are going around in circles with our name discussions!
I like [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] the most.
I know someone who just named their daughter [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and they call her [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I think the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is so sweet! Makes a great first name too.
I think [name_u]Holland[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is my favorite combo though [name_u]Eden[/name_u] would be my favorite name. If you’re looking for suggestions I think [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] would be a beautiful combo.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is so cool and pretty - love [name_u]Eden[/name_u]!
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is absolutely lovely too - a beautiful meaning and something like Lenni-Lou, Leelou/Lilou and [name_m]Len[/name_m] make such cute nn
I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u], but I would vote for [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. I think it sounds great, and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] has more meaning for you.
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] gets my vote! I love the balance between modern & vintage, the alliteration / flow, and the nickname potential. And I love that [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is a family name for you!
If I had to pick without considering the middle name, I’d go with [name_u]Eden[/name_u]! But [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is my middle name and a family name as well so that makes me want to choose [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]! Such a sweet balance of modern and vintage.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is probably my favorite sound-wise and aesthetic-wise on the list, but I love the idea of incorporating [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] in the name. Out of [name_u]Holland[/name_u] vs. [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_u]Holland[/name_u] is definitely my vote. It has a certain elegance and timelessness that [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] does not. I also find [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] to be really heavy on the consonants and awkward for me to say. Plus, [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] is all [name_u]John[/name_u] to me.
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is absolutely grand. I love an alliteration, and these are so spunky and sprightly together! Really really nice.
I like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] best. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] works. I like the suggestion of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. Your example of [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] reminded me how much I like alliteration. Here are some ideas: [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_u]Ellington[/name_u], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], And of course, [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
