We quite like the name [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
His surname will be a word beginning with “Low…“. Worried it’s too much of an alliteration? Or is that not an issue? Opinions please!
Other options at the moment are max or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] fits best although not sure about nickname options for [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]?
Unfortunately most boys names are either “taken” by family, ones we can’t agree on or don’t work at all with the last name…
Want something strong that holds the test of time but not too [name_m]OTT[/name_m]. More after feedback about the three we have than new ideas at this point.
[name_f]TIA[/name_f]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] Low- could work though I’ll suggest [name_m]Leon[/name_m] as a similar choice but with a slightly different ending -it’s a bit like [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] too
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] are both nice, [name_u]Max[/name_u] being my preference. As for [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], i don’t think it necessarily needs a nickname but E, Eth, [name_m]Tan[/name_m] maybe?
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] really doesn’t need a nickname, it stands well on it’s own like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] does.
I’m not a huge fan of alliteration myself but sometimes it works! I think as long as the names aren’t overly matching together otherwise. (Like for being 2 syllables, both start9ng with l and ending with o, or a repetition of the “ee-oh” sounds in both names, etc."
So if you really like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], it’s probably fine.
Well, [name_m]Leo[/name_m] doesn’t have a nickname, so I wouldn’t worry about [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] not having one.
I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [[name_u]Logan[/name_u]] sounds fine, even a bit like a superhero! (In a good way)
I love the suggestion of using [name_m]Leon[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. Or even [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m]/[name_m]Leander[/name_m]/[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] more than [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] though I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m]/[name_m]Leon[/name_m] are much better than either of them.
[name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] are classics, and I do like them. I feel like [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] doesn’t need a nickname, and I do prefer the soft, handsome [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. [name_u]Max[/name_u] is stronger and spunkier, which usually I like for a boy’s name, but I think I’ve just heard it too many times.
I prefer [name_m]Leo[/name_m] to both of them. It’s classic, but has a more unique feel to it, and I like the astronomy connection, it makes it more intriguing. I wouldn’t worry about the last name - I would only be concerned if the last name actually had “leo” in it. Maybe if you added a middle name, it could ease your concerns! I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is beautiful.
