Leonora?

Lately, I have been loving the name [name]Leonora[/name]. What do you think of this name? What do you think of nickname [name]Leonie[/name]?

I think [name]Leonora[/name] is super pretty and cool, and I love [name]Leonie[/name]. I know 1 [name]Leonore[/name] and 1 [name]Leonie[/name], who happens to be a [name]German[/name] model.

I love [name]Leanora[/name] and I adore [name]Leonie[/name]. I think [name]Leonora[/name] nickname [name]Leonie[/name] is wonderful.

I actually would never have thought of [name]Leonie[/name] as a nickname, but I love it! [name]Leonora[/name] is so pretty. [name]Leonora[/name] [name]Alice[/name] was on my list for a while.

I think of [name]Leontyne[/name] [name]Price[/name] singing “[name]Pace[/name], pace, mio Dio”. [name]Love[/name] the name and the character. My favourite [name]Verdi[/name] opera.

I like [name]Leonora[/name], also [name]Leni[/name] is a cute nickname too

[name]Leonora[/name] is not my style I love [name]Lenore[/name] however, either name could also have the nickname [name]Nora[/name] which I adore

I added [name]Leonora[/name] to my list just recently. I think it’s gorgeous. [name]Leonie[/name] is a full name to me, not a nickname, so I’d never think [name]Leonora[/name] nn [name]Leonie[/name]. I would do nn [name]Leo[/name] for a tomboy or nn [name]Nora[/name] for a girly girl.

[name]Leonora[/name] is pretty! The nn [name]Leonie[/name] is really sweet, too, although I do think [name]Leonie[/name] can definitely stand on its own, and I like [name]Lenora[/name] and [name]Lenore[/name] so much more than [name]Leonora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name], personally.

I love it. I think both [name]Leonora[/name] and [name]Leonie[/name] are beautiful.

My grandmother’s name was [name]Leonora[/name] (but she pronounced it [name]Le[/name]-nora). I always liked her name. [name]Leonie[/name] isn’t my fav nn, though. I’d prefer [name]Leo[/name], [name]Nora[/name], or [name]Ora[/name].

I love the name [name]Leonora[/name] and the nn [name]Leonie[/name].

I like both very much!

I like it. Personally prefer [name]Lenorah[/name] or [name]Lenora[/name] slightly. [name]Love[/name] [name]Leonie[/name] or even [name]Leni[/name], [name]Lena[/name], [name]Leo[/name].

Thanks for your replies.

I know (just recently found) [name]Leonie[/name] as a full name, but I thought since, to me, the ee ending seems an affectionate, diminutive form, it would be a good nickname. I do also like all the nicknames everyone suggested, but especially [name]Leo[/name]. I guess I have a thing for the [name]Leo[/name] names. I wanted to name one of my sons [name]Leonardo[/name], but DH vetoed that both times. Oh well.

I prefer [name]Eleanora[/name] (a bit softer but with same number of syllables) but if you stick with [name]Leonora[/name] then [name]Leonie[/name] is a fantastic nn, and I also like [name]Nora[/name].

My ten year old daughter’s name is [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], and we call her [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. It suits her very well. We wanted to give her the more formal name [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] for when she’s older, but while she’s young the name [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] is exactly who she is.
