Leonora

What do you think of this name? Is [name]Nora[/name] a good nn?

I think it’s got a very romantic, dreamy air about it, which is nice. I adore the more down-to-earth [name]Nora[/name] as a nickname! It’s very pretty.

I absolutely love it. It’s romantic and stately with the adorable [name]Nora[/name] as a nickname. Great update from the ever-increasing-in-popularity [name]Eleanor[/name]

I [name]LOVE[/name] this name. I always thought [name]Leo[/name] was a cute nickname for [name]Leonora[/name]. I know it’s typically a boy’s name, but I still think it could work for a girl! I personally like [name]Leo[/name] more than [name]Nora[/name].

I really like it. I slightly prefer Elionora, but [name]Leonora[/name] is beautiful too. It sounds musical.

I really like [name]Leonora[/name]. And love the NN [name]Nora[/name]. I slightly prefer [name]Lenore[/name], [name]Lenora[/name] and [name]Elnora[/name] though.

It depends on your style, [name]Leonora[/name] is what I call a ‘look at me’ name so all of her siblings would need to be similarly named.

Eg [name]Arabella[/name] [name]Snow[/name], [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Clementine[/name] [name]Willow[/name], [name]Archibald[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name], [name]Montgomery[/name] [name]Knox[/name], [name]Rupert[/name] [name]Orion[/name].

I love it but dislike the nn of [name]Nora[/name] which is imo very plain.

rollo

[name]Love[/name] [name]Leonora[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] is the perfect NN for it! I slightly prefer [name]Lenore[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] but [name]Leonora[/name] is still a lovely choice

I prefer [name]Lenore[/name], and [name]Eudora[/name]. [name]Leonora[/name] is like heavy perfume to my ears. But it does have a darkness and an eccentricity… Interesting choice, on someone else’s child.

I prefer [name]Lenore[/name] and [name]Eudora[/name] too. A girl at my boarding school was called [name]Leonora[/name], she was annoying. [name]Nora[/name] or [name]Leo[/name] can both work as nick names.

I’d forgotten I loved [name]Eudora[/name] too

I much prefer [name]Lenore[/name] or [name]Lenora[/name] over [name]Leonora[/name] but that’s a personal preference and I think it’s a perfect way to achieve the nickname [name]Nora[/name]

We named our daughter [name]Leonora[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name] - sister to [name]Sabine[/name] [name]Arabella[/name]. We do call her [name]Leo[/name].

And as someone suggested it is something of a dark name. Our little [name]Leo[/name] has dark brown eyes. Her sister, sparkly blue.

Her name was originally going to be [name]Serena[/name], but when she was born we took one look at her and knew we had to find something else.

Like it a lot! Very romantic and pretty sounding. [name]Nora[/name] is a beautiful nn
