Leonore vs. Leonora

I’ve recently fallen in love with both of them and can’t decide which one I like better! Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. I pronounce them lee-oh-[name_f]NOR[/name_f]/ lee-oh-[name_f]NOR[/name_f]-ah
Thanks in advance

I like frillier names, so my vote goes to [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] would be easier to pair with middle ending with -a sound.

Actually, [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] & [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] can be pronounced the same way, ‘lee-o-nor-ah’. The -e is not silent if using the [name_m]German[/name_m] pronunciation. [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is ‘lee-o-nor’. If you use the spelling [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] you get the best of both worlds

Personally I prefer [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] ‘lee-o-nor-ah’. It looks more sophisticated and less frilly than [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]
