Thought this might be fun!
I think of the alphabet in colour, each letter having it’s own particular shade or tint, and sometimes texture. This doesn’t translate over to regular words, but I’ve found that it does for names! I’ve always had very strong mental imagery when it comes to names, and this tends to come from the colour of it’s letters combining to form a colour of the name.
More details
Some letters of the alphabet have a very strong colour (for example A, which is bright red, or F, which is pale pink.) These letters are overpowering and if a name prominently features any of these letters, their colour tends to erase all the other letters in a name. For example, my best friends name, [name_f]Aviva[/name_f], is a deep velvety red like a theatre curtain, and the two Vs add almost nothing to the colour of the name.
Some letters do not have colours to me, such as Y, U, X, and Q. In a name, they sometimes have colour, but it’s always pale, like a white or watery pink, or something like that.
Sometimes the colours have to do with the meaning or association of the name it self (I have trouble seeing [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] in anything but red,) but most of the time it’s random.
So, if you’d like to hear the colour of your names, post maybe two or three per person. I’d love to hear how your perception of the name differs from mine, or is similar to mine too!
Enjoy!

This is so amazing to me! Unfortunately, I don’t have as creative a vision so colors don’t come to mind for me with any names.
One last one if you don’t mind? [name_u]Harry[/name_u]?

Things like this always fascinate me! I only ever associate colours with names if there’s an obvious colour connection.
I’d love to see [name_f]Melissa[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f] (pron. LEN-ah) & [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] please!
