Let’s Chat Romy and my list…

Someone suggested [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as an alternative to Ruby….i thought this was interesting! I’d love to know your insights and chat the name. Mainly since I like ultra fem names, I wonder if this one is too gender neutral leaning for my list.

Any other full name options? So far I’ve got…
Romelia
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] notes app on my phone I’ve got these that I’ve been playing with lately. If you want to chat any of these combos too I’d love to! I keep picturing southern trees, horses running through a field, and a sweet little lady with a twinkle in her eye and a hint of spunk!

[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Goldie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f] “Lilah”
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Romy[/name_f]! While I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a male [name_f]Romy[/name_f], since the sound is gender-neutral enough, I would definitely assume a [name_f]Romy[/name_f] to be female. I’ve never heard of it being used on a boy before! I think it’s sweet and fun on its own, without a full name, but from your ideas I like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] the most! You could also do [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Romina[/name_f], Rosmina, or [name_f]Romana[/name_f] (and [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f], but it’s probably not your style!)

I’m really loving [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] from your combos :yellow_heart: I also love [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], although I’d like it a tad bit more with a longer middle, like [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]! I think all the combos feel your aesthetic quite well. I think the one that fits it the least is [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f], which is very pretty but not especially outdoorsy/nature-y/southern to me (and I don’t really get the nn Lilah). Lots of lovely ideas!

I also really like [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f]! It’s similar to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] but i feel like it’s softer.

I think [name_f]Romy[/name_f] could totally work on your list. It’s got the same spark as your names and with the right middle, it would blend right in! After all, in [name_f]France[/name_f], [name_f]Romy[/name_f] is a Top 10 girl name - and is also popular for girls in the Netherlands, Belgium, and [name_m]Quebec[/name_m] (and on the rise in the UK).

I love [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]!

[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is bright, bubbly and pretty, [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] has sass and vintage charm, [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f] has spark and playfulness about it, but elegance too, [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is nature-y and zippy, and [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] is bubby and bright - but I’d possibly choose another middle? (Pippa [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]? [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]? [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]? [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Romilly[/name_f]? [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] Felicity?)

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Romy[/name_f]! She feels fully feminine to me because of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. It’s also a standalone Hebrew girls’ name (Romi), so I also think of that. I do like it a little more than Ruby… but I agree she has Ruby’s richness and spunk. I would happily use [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as a standalone, but I love her for [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] too.

I love [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] from your list!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Romy[/name_f], and it’s actually very atypical for my general taste. I do think it’s definitely feminine, just not uber frilly / princessy. It’s spunky and quirky. Goes really well vibe-wise with [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] from your list, which shares similar qualities while being distinct in sounds.
