I’m quite happy with the majority of my [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] combo–I realize [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]'s not everyone’s favorite, but it has a really special tie to both my mom and grandma, and I would be quite happy to use the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] nearly as much as [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], and I adore the literary ties to [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], and I just love [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] together. I had had [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] set as my combo, but I’ve been thinking of other options, and I figured I’d open it up to suggestions, to see if there’s something I can find that I like just as much (if not more!) but that sounds better than the slightly stunted flow of [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. [name_f]Claire[/name_f]'s a family name I really love, and I tend to throw it anywhere and everywhere, and it was my favorite family name with [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], but meh, I feel like I don’t honestly need another family name, since [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] already is.
So far, I’m tossing around these–are there any you’d add?
If you put [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] next to each other, it sounds a lot like [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f].
Of the ones you have listed, I prefer [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]? I realise that [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] get a little smooshed together in the end there, but I think they sound lovely together. The smooshing could be avoided by using [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], but then it obviously isn’t going to mean the same to you.
I love [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. It’s so gentle and sweet but just a tiny bit spunky. [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is dark and velvety and lace and it’s one of my favorite names ever (that [name_u]Cody[/name_u] doesn’t seem to like). [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is an amazing combo!
For this combo, I agree, [name_f]Claire[/name_f] makes it sort of stumbly and cut off sounding. Maybe I could find you another [name_f]Claire[/name_f] sounding name? Of the 2 you have so far, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is my favorite.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] sounds like [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] to me, but it’s a pretty rare name outside Germany so it’s probably not a massive issues.
I love [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Peony[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]! It’s so elegant. Something similarly floral/fairy-like would work best, I feel…
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]
I also thought of [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] but that’s not a bad thing at all. I like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] the best.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is lovely! I think I prefer [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], but only slightly.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Peony[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is stunning, but [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is more beautiful.
I’m not familiar with the [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] that other Berries are referring to, so it didn’t register with me!
I love the name [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]. Before we knew baby #1 is going to be a boy, we had [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] on our short list for girls’ names.
All of that said, I think [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] is just beautiful.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] has a beautiful flow. I don’t think it needs a third name, as that only distracts from the lovely harmony of the combo: [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f]… It just flows so easily off the tongue.
