Let's talk about Truman

[name_m]Truman[/name_m] has been a guilty pleasure for a few years now and for me is unusable because of the association with the American president, [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Truman[/name_m]. [name_m]Truman[/name_m] is at the very least controversial and his ideologies, politics and war decisions are things that I just can’t get behind. This being said, I would like to know if President [name_m]Truman[/name_m] is the only association you have with this name and if you think I should just forget about it.

*I’m nowhere near expecting a boy, this is just something I would like to debate about. We’re still indecisive about [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_f]Viola[/name_f]'s sister’s name and I thought this would take my mind off it for a bit.

It’s not the only association for me, The [name_m]Truman[/name_m] Show and [name_m]Truman[/name_m] Capote also came to mind. In fact they were first over [name_m]Harry[/name_m], but I’m not American.

I would say that it’s still quite dusty and would make a daring choice.

I know one [name_m]Truman[/name_m] and he is in his late 20’s. Cool guy! I honestly don’t think of the president first when I hear the name.

Didn’t enter my mind. I know an elderly [name_m]Truman[/name_m]. That is my association.

My first association is [name_m]Truman[/name_m] Capote.

[name_m]Truman[/name_m] Capote! Writers trump politicians any day.

[name_u]Leslie[/name_u]

While I do think of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Truman[/name_m], I also think of a little boy I know named [name_m]Truman[/name_m] who was named after a family member.

I know this is a bit late, but thank you berries for commenting on [name_m]Truman[/name_m]. I’m glad that the president isn’t the only strong association, I think it makes [name_m]Truman[/name_m] a bit more usable if we have a son in the future.
