Lien?

Lien is a girl’s name of Chinese/Vietnamese origin that means ‘lotus flower’. [name_u]Lotus[/name_u] flowers have always been my favorite, and it has an appealing sound (LEE-en). What do you think about it?

Lien is light and pretty

Its beautiful!

So pretty, I quite like it!

Very pretty!

It’s simple and cute

Wouldn’t use it myself but its very sweet. Reminds me of [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] a bit.

I come across the word “lien” a lot in my daily life so that was my first thought.

However it’s very pretty in the context of names and seems like a winner for you!

I like Lien :relaxed: It’s short but sweet, and lotus flowers are beautiful. [name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest [name_f]Araluen[/name_f]? It’s an Australian Aboriginal name meaning “lotus flower”.

Are you Vietnamese/Chinese? In Vietnamese, it is only pronounced as one syllable.

Love it

Delicate and simple.

I’ve only seen it spelled [name_u]Lian[/name_u] and said as [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-in/Lyehn. It’s a decent name. I prefer the similar name [name_f]Liadan[/name_f].
