Would love some thoughts and feedback for [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]? What do you think of when you hear this name? Any good or bad connotations? Thanks
It’s a very feminine name to me that reminds me of the colour purple! Feels modern but not overly trendy. That said it’s not a personal favourite because I dislike all the ways there are to spell it + how many similar names are really trending right now (Layla / [name_f]Laylah[/name_f] / [name_f]Leila[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], Lily) which makes it feel a tad bit bland to me. But I see the appeal of its melodic sound!
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is very pretty, and definitely reminds me of the color purple (likely due to it’s similarity to the name Lilac). She has a lovely rhythmic sound and I think she’d be even better paired with an unexpected middle name!
Very sweet and lyrical. I picture a girl surrounded by flowers!
Thanks all, if anyone has middle name suggestions too, I would take them
I originally really liked [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but my husband isn’t into it. I feel like [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] might work as a compromise.

I think [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is wonderful! It would be so cute on a little one and very elegant on a woman. I actually might add it to my favorites list
That’s such a precious visual!
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is so cute and sweet! I know a darling little girl with the name, she is always so smiley and charming!
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] reminds me of these emojis:
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is beautiful. Probably doesn’t feel distinctive, as @tallemaja has said, but really appealing for me, nonetheless. I also think [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is really fun. I do prefer the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling, though; [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] feels needlessly complicated and I don’t like that it reminds me of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] (which I wouldn’t use for religious reasons, personally). It’s a sweet, wholesome, happy name, and I would love to know more [name_f]Lilas[/name_f]!
Good luck!
Thanks! I wasn’t as keen on the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling as I feel it would get mispronounced as Lee-lah.
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is bright and pretty with an edge of dark/witchy-ness too.
I like the name. I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f] with no h though.
I have only good associations with the name, it reminds me of lilacs and since one of the possible meanings for the name is “play”, it feels spunky and playful to me too.
[name_f]My[/name_f] daughter is [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], so I love it. I toyed with the [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] spelling but [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] holds more meaning to me, otherwise I would’ve picked [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]! She has had many compliments on her name when I’ve used it in public. She’s sunshine in human form so I see it as a very bright, sunny name.
I like [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]! I think it’s such a pretty name. Very feminine. [name_m]Classic[/name_m] name, but the spelling gives it a bit of a modern feel. It looks similar to [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] which is a favorite name of mine.
Only negative connotations I could think of is there’s a lot of very similar sounding and similar spelled names that it could get confusing. [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], etc could get confusing if she has any girls with those names in her class or as friends.
