[name]Lily[/name]!
[name]Lucy[/name]'s a fine name and all, but as you know, I’m not the hugest fan, haha. [name]Lily[/name] is just so sweet and happy and perfect, and I adore it to bits. I do think [name]Philomena[/name] works better with [name]Lucy[/name], though. They just have more of the same style to me. What about something like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Florence[/name] or [name]Lily[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name]? Maybe another saint name?
Ooh I do like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] a lot!!! [name]Philomena[/name] can certainly go somewhere else! What does everyone else think of [name]Lily[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name]?
Definitely [name]Lucy[/name]! I think it’s such a pretty, classic and timeless name. [name]Lily[/name] is cute, but I find it hard to picture on a professional young woman. However, [name]Lucy[/name] fits all ages and will never go out of style.
I like [name]Lily[/name], [name]Lyla[/name], Lira, and [name]Lyra[/name]
I love [name]Philomena[/name] but I think [name]Philomene[/name] may flow better
Definitely prefer [name]Lucy[/name] over [name]Lily[/name]. To me [name]Lily[/name] is just too dainty and trendy. [name]Lucy[/name] on the other hand is beautiful but strong at the same time and is also a name that’s capable of aging really well; it’s adorable on a little girl but also fits perfectly on an adult. So my vote is for [name]Lucy[/name]
I voted for [name]Lucy[/name] cause it’s one of my favorites. I don’t like [name]Lily[/name] mainly because I used to be in love with it until that character in [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Montana[/name] totally ruined it for me. Still, I did like ash’s recommendation of [name]Lily[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name]. [name]Seraphina[/name]'s good people, she makes every name better
I voted for [name]Lucy[/name], which I much prefer over [name]Lily[/name], and not just because its my middle name!
I have loved [name]Lily[/name] for as long as I can remember…in fact, at seven years old, it is the first name I ever remember singling out as one I liked enough to want to name a potential daughter.
The “il” sounds in [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Philo[/name]- are too singsongy similar. [name]Lucy[/name] is much stronger, less cutesy and common, and sounds better with [name]Philomena[/name].
I voted for [name]Lucy[/name] because I know way too many Lilys. They are all a bit older now, but still under the age of 10.
[name]Lucy[/name] is classic and hasn’t been trendy for a while as far as I know.
I’m so tired of [name]Lily[/name], but [name]Lucy[/name] still sounds fresh. And I think it also sounds better with [name]Philomena[/name].
I much prefer [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] is nice but overused and too common.
I voted for [name]Lily[/name].
In general, I much prefer the sound of the name [name]Lily[/name]. When I hear someone call their child [name]Lucy[/name], I always hear “Loosey” and for whatever reason, that really turns me off.
I don’t love the flow of [name]Lily[/name] [name]Philomena[/name], and the name [name]Lily[/name] is quite popular and trendy, but I just like the sound better than [name]Lucy[/name].
[name]Lucy[/name]! I’m not the biggest fan of most flowery names, plus I’ve been hearing [name]Lily[/name] and similar names EVERYWHERE lately. I realize [name]Lucy[/name] is pretty popular too but there are very few popular variations to go with it.
I find [name]Lucy[/name] much more classic and timeless, and [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Philomena[/name] sounds a lot better than [name]Lily[/name] [name]Philomena[/name], which sounds off with the [name]Lil[/name] and [name]Phil[/name] sounds.
[name]Love[/name] both! But with [name]Philomena[/name] as the mn, I vote for [name]Lucy[/name].
I really want to love [name]Lucy[/name] (and I am trying), but I also have the “Loosey” problem…
[name]Lucy[/name] seems really childish and immature to me. I cannot see an adult [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] is beautiful. [name]Lily[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] is beautiful too!
Funny. [name]Lila[/name] was on my list, too, but I dropped it for the same reason. I picked [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] is just way too trendy right now. There are [name]Lily[/name]'s everywhere you turn. Whenever that happens with a name, it loses some of it’s charm. Plus, I think [name]Lucy[/name] will age better. I also agree with ellenelle about the “il” sound in the middle name. If you do go with [name]Philomene[/name] for the middle name, it definitely sounds better with [name]Lucy[/name].
