Lisette or Lisbet?

I’m torn between [name_f]Lisbet[/name_f] and [name_f]Lisette[/name_f]. [name_u]Baby[/name_u]'s sister is [name_f]Svea[/name_f] [name_f]Elleri[/name_f]. Half brothers [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m], [name_m]Stefan[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m].

We have Swedish heritage, as you probably can guess. [name_f]Lisbet[/name_f] is very Swedish, where [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] is more [name_m]French[/name_m] but has been used in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] since the 1700s.

Thoughts?

Also, we are considering middle name [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] or [name_f]Joy[/name_f], both of which have family significance. Are these middle names too plain?

I prefer [name_f]Lisbet[/name_f] as I think it fits in better with her sibling’s names. I think Lisabet would be cute, too.

[name_f]Lisette[/name_f] flows better. [name_f]Lisbet[/name_f] sounds like it’s missing some syllables, or it’s a nn.
