[name_f]Essie[/name_f] is my favorite but Iam propably biased cause my little cousin is nicknamed [name_f]Essy[/name_f]. Its still an adorable, beautiful name though. Second choice is Lissy.

[name_f]Essy[/name_f] or [name_f]Cissy[/name_f].

[name_f]Celie[/name_f] (SEE-lee) is really the only nn for [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] that I like. Is Cily like SEE-lee or [name_m]SILL[/name_m]-ee? If Cily’s like [name_f]Celie[/name_f], then Cily would get my vote, but if not, I would prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Cissy[/name_f], both of which I think are pretty cute, too.

[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is exquisite, but I find most of the nicknames to be so diminutive as to border on insulting. if you must have one…Cee…or [name_m]Cecil[/name_m].

Cily is SEE-lee.

[name_f]Cissy[/name_f] or [name_f]Silke[/name_f] (the [name_m]German[/name_m] version) for me!

I chose Lissy, which is pretty cute for a [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] nn. I also suggest [name_f]Sallie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sally[/name_f], [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], or
[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-lee.

[name_f]Sally[/name_f] might be puching too far, but it makes sense. [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is awesome. [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-lee could be spelt [name_f]Lily[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Cece[/name_f] (rhyming with [name_f]Essie[/name_f], as opposed to Cee-cee). Maybe spell it Ceci, unless you want the cee-cee prn.

I picked [name_f]Cissy[/name_f], which seems the most logical nickname to me; whereas some of the others seem like a bit of a stretch. That said… I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] Lissy! I don’t see how it works for [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], but if you can make it work - I’m not complaining

[name_f]Cece[/name_f] for me. Simple, cute, intuitive.

2nd pick would be Sessy/Ceci…[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] w/out the ly

We almost went with [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] for this baby but I couldn’t find any nicknames I like and since we already have a dd with a 3 syllable name who has a nn I felt that if we used another 3 syllable name it needed to have a useable nn as well. If it weren’t for that, we would have just named her [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], no nickname.
