Alrighty!!! First of all, your kids (all eight of them, good lord! [name]Major[/name] props to you, my friend!) have the most lovely names I think I’ve ever heard. So, there’s that. Second of all, your name options are outstanding! Given the names of your girls already (I think the boys’ names are easy enough to be compatible with), here’s what I think about each of your selections:
[name]Eleanor[/name] - Oh my gosh, can I tell you how much I love this name? [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Roosevelt[/name] - the most amazing connection you could possibly have in a name for a girl. Like, probably one of the most amazing women to ever have existed, ever. Ev-er. Ahem. [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Ella[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Nori[/name], [name]Lee[/name]/[name]Leigh[/name], [name]Len[/name], etc…the nn possibilities are pretty much endless, and the full name is incredible to boot. [name]One[/name] caveat (for me, anyway) would be that [name]Emmeline[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] both start with ‘E’, but [name]Cecily[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] both start with ‘C", so I’m guessing that’s not a huge issue for you. Moving on!
[name]Olive[/name] - YES. I mean, one of the spunkiest-trending-towards-popular-but-not-quite-there-yet-so-get-in-on-the-ground-floor-because-it’s-gonna-be-huge names around! Plus, [name]India[/name] doesn’t have too many friends (I mean, in the name category! I’m sure she has plenty of friends!!!), so [name]Olive[/name] would kind of be similar in that more “out there” name category. But it’s still in the same group as all your girls’ names, I think! And [name]Liv[/name]/[name]Livvy[/name] is just so precious :3
[name]Penelope[/name] - I like [name]Penelope[/name], I really do. She’s got a great personality. But I think she’s kinda ugly, and your girls are definitely all in the “pretty girls” clique. [name]Penny[/name] just doesn’t do it for me, especially not with your LGs.
Phillippa, with the nickname [name]Pippa[/name] - Ooh. I like her!!! [name]Pippa[/name], yes, will be associated (for some people) with Ms. Middleton, HOWEVER, I do not think that people will come out and say “Oh em gee, you named her after the [name]Princess[/name]’ sister or whomever!” [name]Pippa[/name] is a precious nn, and [name]Philippa[/name] is a name that works more for an adult (though I would not look down upon a grown woman who called herself [name]Pippa[/name]). I do think, though, that [name]Philippa[/name] is crossing the line into “ugly girl” territory. She needs a makeover!
[name]Tabitha[/name] - YES. Yes, yes, yes! I love the name [name]Tabitha[/name]!!! My creepy (legitimately, she is terrifying) cousin aside, [name]Tabitha[/name] is that ugly duckling who let her cool older sister give her some eyeshadow and lip gloss. She is totally fly, and this is another one of those names that you need to snap up quick, because she is getting hotter and hotter! Also: [name]Tabby[/name], [name]Tibby[/name], Bit/Bitty, [name]Tab[/name], and even [name]Tilly[/name]/[name]Tillie[/name] are adorable nns that [name]Tabitha[/name] could use to spice her name up even more.
[name]Annabel[/name]…Is this too close to [name]Arabella[/name]'s name? - I believe it is, yes =( But I do think that it’s a gorgeous name (especially this spelling!) so perhaps for one of the girl’s mns?
[name]Jessamy[/name] or [name]Jessamine[/name]; we like them both - [name]Jessamy[/name] is one of my favorites! But it seems a little out of place with your girls, to me. I do think that [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Jessamy[/name] would make a nice pair, though, especially because they both have nature meanings.
[name]Bellamy[/name] - [name]Love[/name] her, but again, a little out of place. And the “[name]Bella[/name]” thing ([name]Bellamy[/name] and [name]Arabella[/name]) bothers me a bit.
[name]Adelia[/name] - I’ve never heard that before! Like her, but not a favorite.
[name]Violet[/name] - Ugh, [name]LOVE[/name]. She’s beautiful.
[name]Dahlia[/name] - A little too murder mystery for me (The [name]Black[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name]).
[name]Clara[/name] - I love her too! She’s so generous and kind…[name]Clara[/name] [name]Barton[/name] was one of my heroes when I was younger, because my mom gave me her biography. Her, [name]Florence[/name] Nightingale, and [name]Marie[/name] Curie were my childhood idols :3
[name]Virginia[/name] - I think she’s a bit old. But [name]Ginny[/name] is a sweet nn!
[name]Georgia[/name] - A bit popular for my taste, but she’s sweet as a peach
[name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name] - [name]Juliet[/name] is one of the loveliest names, I think!
[name]Victoria[/name] - No. She’s too old, and not in a sweet granny-ish way. She’s just…let’s leave her in the cupboard with her curled bangs and slap bracelets, shall we? Plus, I really don’t think she fits in with your set.
Overall, I think your choices are all impeccable. My favorite beyond favorite combo is [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] (all the same letters, except [name]Violet[/name] has that ‘T’), with [name]Tabitha[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] following along. Or maybe it’s [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]? Oh, I don’t know. Best of luck to you and your beautiful, big family!!!
Much love
