I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and my husband and I have been STRUGGLING with choosing a name for our little boy. We had absolutely no problem when it came to choosing our daughter’s name and this is really throwing me that we are having such a hard time this time around and its getting to crunch time! So far I’ve really liked the name [name_u]Jett[/name_u], but my husband has pretty much vetoed that name and he really liked the name [name_m]Brock[/name_m], which I very strongly vetoed. Husband also vetoed [name_u]Everette[/name_u], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] (he’s being very difficult haha).
We’ve been finding boys names really hard and would love some input on the few that I’ve been leaning towards as well as other suggestions.
The only thing about a name that we are agreeing on is that the middle name will be [name_u]David[/name_u] in tribute to my late grandfather.

[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is such a great name! All of your “maybes” feel like strong contenders to me except [name_u]Archer[/name_u]- it’s too similar to [name_u]Harper[/name_u] imo, plus I think [name_m]Archie[/name_m] could be tough to avoid. You might also like…

On your list he’s the name that stands out he’s handsome, outdoorsy, feels bright and has a summery vibe. [name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_u]David[/name_u] is lovely. I think [name_u]Leo[/name_u] works wonders with [name_u]Harper[/name_u].
Already some great advice, but to chip in, I would choose Leo or (second) Axel of your choices. I agree with others that Leo David sounds the best - it’s a really handsome, reliable, friendly and a little bit cheeky! I like it and it will age very well. The X in Axel is slightly harsh/hard sounding with the V of David - but Axel is a very cool name, it would be a good choice.
Theo is too popular, I think (though it would be my third choice), and Quin isn’t as rugged and handsome to me as the others. Archer, yes too/very close to Harper and tricky nn’s if you don’t want Archie.
