Little sister for Jack!

Hello, I am due in [name_f]May[/name_f] with a little girl. I have an almost 2yr old boy named [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. We like classic names. On our short list we have [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. Which do you like best? Also up for other suggestions. ([name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is my grandmothers name. I would love to use [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a first or middle.) Thank you!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is my favourite with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]!
Other ideas:

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!! A beautiful name with family history and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are prefect together! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] are lovely too but are trendier classics in my opinion. :sunglasses:

Audrey [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is my favourite, although I’d prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is such an elegant classic and I think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] make such lovely sibling names. You might also like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f].

Ooh, all three are gorgeous! [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is my favourite, but love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] too.

What about:
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] / [name_f]Eva[/name_f]

Audrey [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] sounds just right to me! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] together.

I think either [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is cute

So I would go either for [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

I probably favour [name_f]Emma[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] for you depending which first name you are leaning to, or maybe that she ends up looking like. I love that they have lovely meaning to your family. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is nice as well but it has been so popular/commonly used over the years. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are perfection.

Emma [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] go super well together!

Katherine [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a beautiful name. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are also good options. All names work well for a sister for [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favourite from your list is [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

Hi! [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is such a warm and friendly name! Out of your list, my favorite is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/Kate with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as well!

I’m a just [name_f]Kate[/name_f] myself, which I highly recommend considering as a first! It hasn’t caused me any issues save the ocasional people asking what it’s short for. I think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a standalone go really well together because they’re both traditional nicknames with warm and spunky personality to them! Plus, you still get the honor name while letting your daughter have her own name. I think [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] would be really cute.

If you’d still like more suggestions…
(apologies for any repeats, I haven’t read the above replies)

  • Eva
  • Mae
  • Eleanor
  • Tessa
  • Ada
  • Alice
  • Amelia
  • Anna

Thank you so much for all the reply’s! I really appreciate it. I’m leaning toward [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I agree [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is overused but I still love the name. We may just wait until we meet her to decide if we do [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as a first name or [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
We thought about just [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a first but it’s hard to match a middle name with [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

Also I love love love that it’s your Grandma’s name she had a beautiful name clearly is an important namesake for you using names that honour your family to me is so important so I say use your Grandma’s name! Family names trump everything for me!

After [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] my follow up choice would be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] which is a gorgeous name.

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] ~ [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]

Katherine [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is lovely! [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is so classic and goes perfectly with [name_m]Jack[/name_m].

Emma [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is my favourite, followed closely by [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is nice, but I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] would fit better with [name_m]Jack[/name_m].

Audrey [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is so glamorous! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]

I say [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], for sure! ^^

Jack is my very favorite boy name. [name_u]Strong[/name_u], handsome, & classic. I really love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], especially with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/Katherine is lovely. [name_f]My[/name_f] all-time fave sibling combination is [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] thought I would mention the idea of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/Katherine if you were open to suggestions!

I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] but I also like the sentiment of using [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] !
I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] ultimately gets my vote

Audrey [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Having a [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (as a first) would be too awkward for me as those were the names of two of the main characters who happened to be in a relationship in the show Lost. It’s from the early 2000s but it was popular at the time. I really like the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] goes really well with it. Timeless classics
