Little Sister for Jade?

We need help picking another girls name big sister is [name_f]Jade[/name_f].

[name_f]Aster[/name_f]

Our last name starts with [name_m]Vit[/name_m] so we aren’t sure if that’s too much with [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] the best. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Vitsomething is a bit too much “[name_f]Vi[/name_f]” and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] Vitsomething has too many “T” sounds next to each other. I’m not personally a fan of [name_f]Aster[/name_f] (although perhaps [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]!). I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] would be an excellent choice!

Opinions:

  • I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
  • [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_m]Vit[/name_m] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_m]Vit[/name_m] are both too much.
  • [name_f]Aster[/name_f] is ok, but it isn’t really my style

Ideas:
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] – nature inspired like [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] & [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Also has the same ‘vee’ sound as [name_f]Violet[/name_f] without being as overpowering.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] – nature inspired
[name_f]Beryl[/name_f] – short jewel name
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f] – similar to [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], but feels more established as a name
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] – nature inspired
[name_f]Ines[/name_f]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f] – like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but without the t

I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] works beautifully with [name_f]Jade[/name_f]!

I would avoid [name_f]Aster[/name_f] b/c the first syl could cause teasing. I wouldn’t use another color/gem name, but none the less I would pick [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] out of your choices. Another nature name like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_f]Lark[/name_f] would be sweet.
