Hello! Having trouble coming up with a name for baby girl #2. #1 is [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and goes by nn [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I knowww sibling sets aren’t the most important thing in the world, but I would like a name that sounds nice with [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] AND [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. Or a full name that goes with [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and nn that goes with [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I sure made it hard on myself
My favorite contender right now is “[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]” but DH isn’t sure that’s the one and he’s really pulling for “[name_f]Mabel[/name_f].” I also loved “[name_f]Odette[/name_f]” for awhile, but my husband wanted to call her “[name_m]Odie[/name_m]” and I just cannot do that to my sweet baby girl! Haha
Any suggestions would be appreciated! [name_f]TIA[/name_f]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is such a cool nickname for [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]!

Definitely love [name_f]Odette[/name_f]! While I think nn [name_m]Odie[/name_m] is cute but you could do a different nn. Ette? [name_f]Ettie[/name_f]? [name_f]Dot[/name_f] or [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], even?
Other name options to consider:
I like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] &. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] a lot. They both go well enough w/[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]. [name_f]Vivie[/name_f] & [name_f]Maeby[/name_f] for nns? [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is not my personal favorite, but it’s interesting & different. [name_m]Odie[/name_m] is kind of cute w/[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] actually!
I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_f]Odette[/name_f] work best with [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]/[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_u]Van[/name_u] for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] (there is a female Australian writer called [name_u]Van[/name_u] Badham). [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], [name_f]Dot[/name_f], [name_f]Ettie[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], Ted, [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] for [name_f]Odette[/name_f].
[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] was most popular so I went digging through the records and found
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kat[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] nn [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] nn [name_m]Bec[/name_m]

[name_f]Judith[/name_f] nn [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_f]Melissa[/name_f] nn Liss
[name_f]Joanne[/name_f] nn [name_u]Jo[/name_u]
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] nn Ness

Off this list I’d probably go [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] nn [name_f]Kat[/name_f] or [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] nn [name_m]Bec[/name_m]
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there! I like the idea of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], it goes well with [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and [name_f]May[/name_f]/[name_f]Mae[/name_f] goes with both names as well!

[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] with nn “[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]” is really interesting combo because [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is sleek, tailored and ultra modern and [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] is formal and a little on the retro side. Other combos that match this theme are:

[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] nn “[name_f]Bree[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]”
[name_f]Judith[/name_f] nn “[name_u]Jude[/name_u]”
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nn “[name_f]Gen[/name_f]”
My favorite options are [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]”, [name_f]Judith[/name_f] nn “[name_u]Jude[/name_u]” and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] nn “[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]”.
[name_f]Odette[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] would be sweet.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] nn. [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]

My younger sister is a [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f], and we, her older sisters, are [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] “[name_u]Mandy[/name_u]” and [name_f]Kassandra[/name_f] “[name_f]Kacie[/name_f]”.
I always felt like [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] didn’t really have the same flair as my sister’s names, but I’ve always loved their names together. So I’m gonna go ahead and throw [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] “[name_u]Casey[/name_u]/[name_f]Cassie[/name_f]” out there! I love the idea of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Casey[/name_u], both a little gender neutral but still strong, feminine names!
I love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] from your list too. Awhile back I saw somebody who had [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] nicknamed [name_u]Billie[/name_u] on their list, which is super cute! [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Billie[/name_u] would be adorable together! [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Bell[/name_u] would also be super sweet!
ETA: I LOVE the below ideas of [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] “[name_u]Stevie[/name_u]” and [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] or [name_f]Daniela[/name_f] “[name_f]Danni[/name_f]”! [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] would be so precious!!!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the pp suggestion of [name_u]Casey[/name_u] for [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]. I was going to suggest it with nickname [name_f]Cassie[/name_f]. Another nickname for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] I love is [name_f]Meg[/name_f].
Let me brain storm to see if I come up with anything not already mentioned. Please excuse any repeats.
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is lovely with [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and has lots of nn possibilities. Other ideas:
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] nn [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_f]Nicole[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nicki[/name_f] or [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
