they haven’t announced the name yet (at least i’m not aware), so what does everyone think they’ll name baby #5, a boy!

a little refresher

  • their oldest children are: eloise rose, theodore blythe, william shepherd and anna beth jean

in their latest ‘names we love and might use’ video the names were:

boys

vincent, harrison (but not harry), bellamy, billie (b), bennett, lawrence, fredrick, franklin, guy, tommy, arthur, boone, cuthbert, gilbert,

girls

susanna, johanna, heidi, maribel, margret, marjorie, marilyn, margot, marrianne, marilla, beatrice, etta, verity, felicity, faye, freya, francis, dorothy, ruth/ruby, greta

I feel like their style has definitely leaned towards more timeless vintage names (going from [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] → [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] > Anna-Beth) but I’m also noticing a 40s/50s pattern in the above names.

I also literally just as I was making this post saw that the name apparently starts with an ‘S’!

my guesses:

  • [name_m]Simon[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Seth[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Sterling[/name_m] (not feeling too confident about this one)
  • [name_m]Silas[/name_m]

as for the middle name

i’m thinking [name_m]Silas[/name_m], i love [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]Boone[/name_m] with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] & [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] :sheaf_of_rice::sun:

I’m going to throw out [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], and [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. I wouldn’t have guessed any of these, but hard to think of many “S” names that feel classic enough with their sibset! I’m looking forward to seeing their choice though :blush:

His name is Henrik/Henrick, not sure on spelling

wowww, totally not what I was expecting! I saw a video where she said “welcome baby S”, maybe they changed their mind? Either way, a surprising (handsome!) choice!

I saw that too! I wonder what the S name was. Henrick is so surprising, as is Dudley. I love the names of the other children, but I can’t say I’m a big fan of this one, though Henrick is sweet.
