I’m stuck between two names for our baby girl! I love both [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]. I know [name_u]Logan[/name_u] could be mistaken for a boys name but I just love it on a girl, or do we play it safer with [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]? Thanks for the help
I like [name_u]Logan[/name_u] a lot on a girl, actually I prefer it as a girls name. I think its lovely. Iam not a fan of [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], I prefer [name_u]Laney[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] - it has a great sound!!
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] can’t be “mistaken” for a boy’s name because it is, in fact, a boy’s name. Please use [name_f]Lacey[/name_f].
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] I’ve never heard for a girl before but I’ve met many male Logans. Hard for me to picture on a girl… I don’t really have a strong opinion on it.
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] I love the sound of and I have considered adding it to my list a few times but lacey bra, lacey undies association stops me for using it for a child.
I liked the suggestion of [name_u]Laney[/name_u] / [name_f]Lainey[/name_f]
What about [name_f]Lola[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f]? I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Lainey[/name_f]/[name_u]Laney[/name_u].
I know a little [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], she’s adorable. It’s a totally valid lovely choice.
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] for a girl reminds me of the current trend of using [name_u]James[/name_u] for a girl. shrug It’s not my style but I’m not against it completely. I think it’s interesting your two choice are polar opposites. One [name_m]Uber[/name_m] feminine and the other totally masculine. I would suggest not fully deciding until you meet her.
Maybe that’s why we’re struggling so much, they ARE very different🙈
I prefer [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]. Maybe use [name_u]Logan[/name_u] as a middle if you don’t have one already?
Of the two, I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u] definitely.
I prefer [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] sounds harsh to my ear for both girls and boys. [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] has a sweet, airy feeling to it.
[name_u]Logan[/name_u].
Please.
Most children these days have unisex or gender fluid names. It’s very common. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t worry if someone things it’s a boys only name. It wouldn’t even be a big deal.
The word lace isn’t my favorite considering people use it a lot when taking about drugs.
I prefer [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] of the two. It’s such a sweet name. I really like [name_u]Logan[/name_u], but it has a very masculine sound to me as I’ve known quite a few boys with the name. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] / [name_u]Laney[/name_u]! It seems like a good balance between your two choices
I love [name_u]Logan[/name_u]! [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] feels more old-fashioned and frumpy, but [name_u]Logan[/name_u] seems more warm and welcoming. (Unisex names are quite popular nowadays anyway, so that shouldn’t be any problem)
I like [name_u]Logan[/name_u].
I knew a dog named [name_f]Lacey[/name_f].
I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. I know statistically it is used more for boys, but it reads unisex to me since the first [name_u]Logan[/name_u] I ever met was a girl. I thought her name suited her and it never occurred to me that it was masculine-sounding. I think it fits in with [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_u]Teagan[/name_u], [name_f]Megan[/name_f], etc.
I vastly prefer [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] over [name_u]Logan[/name_u] but like the [name_u]Laney[/name_u]/[name_f]Lainey[/name_f] suggestion much better. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] is honestly one of my least favorite names because it reminds me so much of “loogie”…ew. Also it’s 100% a boy’s name in my mind.
The only [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] I’ve ever heard of was that poor woman [name_f]Laci[/name_f] [name_m]Peterson[/name_m], and I think that’s what puts me off [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] a bit. I’d go [name_f]Lainey[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f] or even [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] the most!). Best of luck!
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f], definitely. Not a fan of [name_u]Logan[/name_u] on a girl.
I love [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]!
The first thing I associated with the name, [name_f]Lacey[/name_f], was [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] [name_m]Peterson[/name_m] the news story from aa few years back. The name has a negative feeling for me because of that.
I would use another name, but not [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. I like [name_u]Laine[/name_u], with the nickname [name_f]Lainey[/name_f].
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f] - [name_f]Lainey[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - Lisey, Lisi, Lisie (pronounced [name_u]LEE[/name_u] see)
