Login instead of Logan?

I have a friend named [name_u]Logan[/name_u], and recently I saw her name misspelled as Login somewhere. So that got me thinking. Could you name your child Login and pronounce it [name_u]Logan[/name_u]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] would people just pronounce it log-in?

Unfortunately, I think the majority would mispronounce it as “log-in”, like a computer login.

when i first read the title and saw login i thought you were referring to an account etc.

…please do not do this to a child. They will be log-in their entire life, way to ruin a perfectly good name.

i really don’t think that it’s usable. unfortunately, i think login is too tied to the computer world, sorry.

if you’re not happy with the [name_u]Logan[/name_u] spelling I would suggest [name_m]Logen[/name_m] over Login… please don’t name a child Log-in

I mean to say this on the in nicest way possible. Please don’t name your kid Login. Sure it works tho.

I agree with most of you guys! There is a reason it’s not a name on Nameberry, although there are people named Login, after I did further research.

Unfortunately, I pronounced it as log-in when I read it. I think that this name is lovely on a girl… but spelled [name_u]Logan[/name_u].

I automatically read it as Log-in, like logging into a website. I feel like in a time where everything is so digitized, Login would always be associated with the internet, and therefore mispronounced.

I have seen Loganne before though.

Definitely not. This past school year, all the kids were given devices to use and the first thing they were told every day is to “login” to their account. Not useable at all in this age with technology.

Login is prettier I think, but it is just a word like computer Login, I think it is unusable

In the nicest possible way, a child called Login would be teased and spend the rest of their life correcting the pronunciation. I really think it’s not a good idea.

As someone named Login, it’s not so bad. Half of my friends pronounce [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and the other half pronounce log in, which actually helps when there’s another [name_u]Logan[/name_u] in the friend group

As in… login to my account? Yeah… I don’t think that would work, lol. Many mispronunciations. Maybe if you play around with it as a middle name though it could work.
