I love the names [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Lola[/name], but I can choose.
People say [name]Lola[/name] is a dogs name, or relates to the song by the Kinks but I think its more of a cute little English name. [name]Violet[/name] I really love, but it kind of reminds me of darkness or something scary.
I like [name]Lola[/name] as a nickname for [name]Dolores[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] or whatever else you can connect it to…but as a stand alone name I think it’s kind of too cute for the adult she might someday be.
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] reminds me of a strand of purple pearls which I’m not really into. Maybe:
I like [name]Lola[/name] as a nickname for [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Penelope[/name], but on its own, it is a bit too nickname-y…
So, my vote goes to [name]Violet[/name], I think you could even use [name]Lola[/name] as a nickname for [name]Violet[/name]. Maybe it’s a stretch, but not too much!
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is kind of an odd combination because it’s a color and then a noun as if the pearl has a purple hue…
I was gonna suggest [name]Viola[/name] when i saw that sweetpea2peanut suggested it. It is kind of like a combination of [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Lola[/name] and it is a character from [name]Shakespeare[/name] which I love. I don’t know if I like [name]Pearl[/name] with it. You could go with [name]Viola[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] or [name]Marguerite[/name] which both mean pearl.
I personally love [name]Violet[/name]! It’s so spunky but demure and sophisticated all at the same time.
I do think of a chic-a-cherry cola when I hear [name]Lola[/name], I am sorry, but I also see the appeal of [name]Lola[/name]. I wonder if using a name like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Lark[/name] would be too much of a stretch to get to the nickname [name]Lola[/name]?
But if you are set on using your combination, I must say that [name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is gorgeous! Very vintage and classy (I’ve got it as a combination on my own list, so great minds must think alike!).
Depending on what type of a name your going for with your [name]Lola[/name] combination, you could use [name]Lola[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Lola[/name] [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Lola[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] (personally not a fan of [name]Quinn[/name] on girls, it’s all boy [name]IMO[/name], but I think the combination still works). I also like [name]Lola[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Lola[/name] [name]Edith[/name]. [name]Just[/name] depends on your style and what you want the name to feel like!
I really love the [name]Violet[/name]. I know it’s getting a bit popular, but it’s just so pretty and feminine, without being overly girly. It doesn’t remind me of darkness or anything, but I can understand that some people would. Still, it’s beautiful and I think it’d be a fantastic name. Plus, [name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is gorgeous.
I’m another one that was going to suggest [name]Viola[/name]! [name]Viola[/name] pearl also takes away that image of a purple coloured string of pearls. [name]Win[/name]!
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Violet[/name]!! [name]Lola[/name] is wearable, but what if she’s a lawyer when she’s older?? I think it is a bit nicknamey, unfortunately.
I love them both! [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] (nn [name]Lola[/name]) are both on my top 10. I think they’re adorable. I would give [name]Lola[/name] a fuller name, it just feels a bit nicknamey to me, but it could stand on its own. Or you could even use [name]Violet[/name] nn [name]Lola[/name]… I’ve heard of people doing that before.
