thanks so much, berries, for sharing your thoughts on my previous thread about wes + ash!
i’m really liking these names today, & i am a long-time fan of asher.
however, i’m not totally sure about wesley and want to see if there are some other long-form options that could shorten to “wes.”
any ideas? thanks so much!
Weston/Westin was my first thought
[name_m]Westley[/name_m]
[name_m]Wesson[/name_m]
[name_m]Hawes[/name_m]
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_m]Westcott[/name_m]
[name_u]West[/name_u]

Westley/Westleigh
Again, [name_m]Weston[/name_m] was my first thought!
Other names,
[name_u]Quest[/name_u] is one that popped to mind, not a common name but it has the [name_m]Wes[/name_m] sound
[name_m]Weston[/name_m] and [name_m]Westcott[/name_m] are great suggestions from pp!!
[name_m]Webster[/name_m]
[name_m]Rockwell[/name_m]
[name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]
[name_m]Wells[/name_m]
[name_m]Roswell[/name_m]
hi everyone, and thank you for your ideas!!
I do like ‘weston’ quite a bit. however, & i should have mentioned this before – my in-laws have a golden doodle named winston. and while i like weston, i think it may be too close.
what do you think? are winston and weston too close? is wesley my best bet?
I don’t think they’re too close.
