I love the name [name_f]Amy[/name_f] but it is a bit dated. I was wondering if there was a way to get this as a nickname? I considered [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and Amabella, but I’m not particularly a fan of either.
All comments are welcome (even if you dislike the name) and I would like to Thank all who respond.
These three seem to best lead to [name_f]Amy[/name_f] and are also my three favorites:
[name_f]Amity[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Aminta[/name_f]
I second pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f].
These might be a stretch but could work:
[name_f]Amira[/name_f]
[name_f]Amara[/name_f]
[name_f]Amina[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalita[/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] read a book featuring young girl named [name_f]Amirah[/name_f] who called herself [name_f]Amy[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] was my first thought too
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] could work, Also
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Amber[/name_f], Amberlie (not sure if its a “real” name but its cute
I love [name_f]Ameline[/name_f]/ Amaline and [name_f]Amelina[/name_f]. [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is an option as well, as are [name_f]Amira[/name_f] and [name_f]Amina[/name_f]. Or maybe [name_f]Amity[/name_f]? You could also use a name ending in -[name_f]Amy[/name_f] like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] or [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f].
It’s something I’ve thought about too because I really like [name_f]Amy[/name_f] but would want a longer first name.
