Long form of Gus

Ok, so I’m growing increasingly fond of the name [name]Gus[/name], but I hate [name]August[/name]/[name]Augustus[/name]/[name]Augustin[/name]/basically any variant of said name. [name]Fergus[/name] and [name]Angus[/name] are ok, but I’m not in love with either of them. Are there any other longer forms out there that you know of that may be ‘the one’ to add onto my list?

[name]Gustav[/name]? [name]Gustavo[/name]?

Maybe [name]Ferguson[/name] (version of fergus), [name]Argus[/name]…

Maybe you could do it with initials… ie. [name]George[/name] [name]Ulysses[/name] [name]Seth[/name] ( not a great combo but you get the idea)

Guster, like from Psych. In the show, he uses it as a last name, but I don’t see why you couldn’t use it as a first. I’m not totally sure though, I’m still thinking about it…

[name]Gaston[/name] could be called [name]Gus[/name]…

Gustin nn [name]Gus[/name]! :

Here’s some names I think [name]Gus[/name] could work for:

[name]Argus[/name]
Boguslaw
Dalgus
[name]Gus[/name] – by itself
Gustov
Hargus
Magus
Negus

Guban
Guerdon
Guerrant
Guifford
[name]Guilford[/name]
[name]Guinn[/name]
[name]Gulliver[/name] – love this one!!
Gundy
[name]Gunner[/name]
Gunnolf
Guntram
Gurshan
[name]Guthrie[/name]
Guwayne

most of these are way too much for me, but maybe you’ll find something you like

Hmm, [name]Gulliver[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] or something else with an ‘s’ middle initial could work really well. [name]Gulliver[/name]'s not massively in keeping with the style of the rest of my names but there’s something nice about it that I can’t pinpoint.
