Girls
[name]Gemma[/name]/[name]Jemma[/name] - Never liked for some reason, I usually have a hard time with J names… [name]How[/name] about [name]Giada[/name] or [name]Junia[/name]?
[name]Isla[/name] - Too soft an flimsy for me, but better than [name]Gemma[/name] still. similar suggestions: [name]Ailsa[/name], Aia, [name]Ida[/name], [name]Iona[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] - A bit dull, [name]Emory[/name] is better. I also worry about the gender thing on this one, since I can’t make out in my head right now whether I’ve heard it more for boys or girls. More: [name]Emer[/name], [name]Emerald[/name], Emerence
[name]Sienna[/name] - I prefer [name]Siena[/name] like the city, but it’s still soft and flimsy as well. [name]Sierra[/name] is so much cooler, plus [name]Fiamma[/name], [name]Sevilla[/name], Sini/Sinikka, [name]Sonia[/name] and [name]Silvia[/name]
[name]Tatum[/name] - I always preferred this for a boy. Very masculine sounding to me. Try Bloom, [name]Mayim[/name], [name]Plum[/name], [name]Tamar[/name] and Tempe
[name]Eden[/name] - I love this in spite of it’s gender-neutrality  Others: [name]Edith[/name], [name]Edana[/name], [name]Edda[/name], [name]Elda[/name]
Haisley - [name]Hayley[/name]/[name]Paisley[/name] mix? Not loving this at all… Try [name]Halcyon[/name], [name]Hestia[/name] or [name]Thisbe[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cora[/name]! I’m not going to make any suggestions here, [name]Cora[/name] is perfect just like this
[name]Evie[/name]/[name]Evelyn[/name] - [name]How[/name] do you plan to pronounce [name]Evelyn[/name]? I don’t like the US way, but the UK way is pretty  Others: [name]Aviva[/name], Evelein, [name]Evelina[/name], Everild/Everilda (also a better way than Everleigh to get the nn [name]Ever[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] - Boys name to me, sorry. [name]How[/name] about just [name]Rose[/name]? or [name]Rima[/name], [name]Rosaria[/name]/Rosary, [name]Rain[/name] or Remedy?
[name]Ellis[/name] - I always wonder about people wanting to use this for a girl, since it’s basically the same as [name]Alice[/name] but with a masculine twist. Other suggestions: [name]Elsa[/name], [name]Elise[/name], [name]Ala[/name]”s, [name]Aloisa[/name], Ealisaid (ALE-is-sed)
[name]Honor[/name] - [name]Love[/name]! More like [name]Honor[/name]: [name]Opal[/name], [name]Orla[/name], [name]Olwen[/name], [name]Honora[/name]/[name]Annora[/name], [name]Honesty[/name]
Irelynn - [name]Ireland[/name] is fair, Irelynn is too much. Try [name]Irina[/name]/[name]Irene[/name]/[name]Eirene[/name], Erianthe, [name]Eira[/name] or Eirwen
[name]Henley[/name] - [name]Hadley[/name] is nicer since the D adds some zest to the name. I don’t have any more H suggestions with similar sounds… Sorry!
Illyria - this is new to me! I love it, once I find out it has actual history and isn’t some butchering of [name]Hilary[/name] via [name]Ilaria[/name]. I’m adding this to my list (you are one of few who have managed to do that!) It has the downside of looking very invented though… For Other suggestions, how about [name]Ilaria[/name], Ilithyia, Idumea, [name]Iluminada[/name], [name]Lyric[/name], [name]Elvira[/name], [name]Elysia[/name] or [name]Elsia[/name]
[name]Everly[/name]/Everleigh - [name]Just[/name] [name]Ever[/name] is very pretty, the -ly/-leigh part is superflous [name]IMO[/name]. Try Everild/Everilda or Everita to get to [name]Ever[/name]. there’s also [name]Elvira[/name] which I already mentioned and [name]Evanthe[/name] or [name]Evening[/name]
[name]Harlow[/name] - Prefer [name]Marlow[/name], too close to Harlot for me. Others: [name]Margo[/name], Aello, Tatou, [name]Malou[/name], [name]Lilou[/name], [name]Bayou[/name], Caleano, [name]Calypso[/name], [name]Chiyo[/name], [name]Clio[/name], [name]Dido[/name], [name]Echo[/name], Erato, [name]Hero[/name], Leto, [name]Manon[/name], [name]Meadow[/name], [name]Orla[/name], [name]Roc[/name]”o, [name]Rosario[/name] or [name]Socorro[/name] for more names ending in an O sound
[name]Leighton[/name] - Never liked. Try [name]Ceylon[/name], [name]Chaplin[/name], [name]Cinnamon[/name], Endellion, Aeon, Liad”n, Lorien, [name]Mabyn[/name], Meridian, [name]Mirren[/name], [name]Taran[/name], Wendelin, Alwen
[name]Bristol[/name] - Alright I guess, but I would assume you could find a place name with more personal meaning.

Boys
Braddock - Sounds made up, [name]Caradoc[/name] is similar but more awesome. So is [name]Sherlock[/name] and [name]Enoch[/name]. [name]Bramwell[/name] and [name]Broderick[/name] alo come to mind
[name]Jude[/name] - I like [name]Jude[/name]. Hey [name]Jude[/name] is lovely. Others: [name]Judd[/name], [name]Jules[/name], [name]Justus[/name]
[name]Sutton[/name] - I like [name]Sutton[/name] too! Try [name]Abbott[/name], [name]Dermot[/name], Ellicott, [name]Anton[/name], [name]Eamon[/name], [name]Rodion[/name], [name]Samson[/name], [name]Simeon[/name], [name]Solomon[/name], [name]Solon[/name], [name]Theron[/name], [name]Zenon[/name]
[name]Miles[/name] - I love [name]Miles[/name] as well! I much prefer your boys list to your girls list, I can say that much! [name]How[/name] about [name]Moses[/name], [name]Eames[/name], [name]Hayes[/name], [name]Xenos[/name], [name]Amos[/name], [name]Caius[/name], [name]Joss[/name]
[name]Jett[/name] - I like [name]Jett[/name] too, my other suggestions have probably already been mentioned, but here are some more with one syllable: [name]Baird[/name], [name]Birch[/name], [name]Boone[/name], [name]Boyd[/name], [name]Bram[/name], [name]Clive[/name], [name]Clyde[/name], [name]Floyd[/name], [name]Franz[/name], [name]Frost[/name], [name]Hawk[/name], [name]Jove[/name], [name]Lake[/name], [name]Luc[/name], [name]Moss[/name], [name]Oak[/name], Rook, [name]Wolf[/name], [name]York[/name] and Zeal
[name]Quinn[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t care much for it, but I love that it’s on your boys list! [name]Quest[/name], [name]Quill[/name], [name]Quiller[/name] and [name]Quincy[/name] are other nice Q names
[name]Hudson[/name] - Never liked, don’t car much for the -son ending nor the Hud start… [name]Anson[/name] and [name]Edison[/name] are the only -son names on my list. [name]Edison[/name] is a wonderful alternative to [name]Hudson[/name] [name]IMO[/name]
[name]Bronson[/name] - The Br- start is not something I love, nor the -son ending. [name]Anson[/name] suit you?
[name]Lennox[/name] - Is not too bad, although I think it fits right in with today’s trendy names and I have an aversion to those… Names on my list with X - Sixby, [name]Xanthos[/name]/[name]Xenos[/name], Anxo, [name]Fox[/name], [name]Huxley[/name], [name]Maxence[/name], [name]Maxfield[/name] and [name]Maxim[/name].
[name]Lennon[/name] - I like this as a Beatles reference, a bit dull otherwise. [name]Leon[/name] is better, or [name]Leonidas[/name], [name]Leonid[/name] or Liron.
[name]Lachlan[/name] - I like this! It was on my list a while back, but I fell out of love for it… Try just [name]Locke[/name] or [name]Laszlo[/name] or [name]Luke[/name]/[name]Luc[/name]
[name]Henrik[/name] - As a [name]Henrik[/name] [name]Ibsen[/name] reference this is lovely. I’m Norwegian and this name is very common here so I have much love for you trying to import it. You have my blessings!! So much more interesting than [name]Henry[/name] while being easy to understand! Perfect name!

So my Favourites are [name]Cora[/name], [name]Honor[/name] and Illyria for girls and [name]Henrik[/name], [name]Sutton[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] for boys. I would pair those up in style like this:
[name]Henrik[/name] and Illyria (exotic and different)
[name]Sutton[/name] and [name]Honor[/name] (Surname and Wordname, I also like the O’s in both names!)
[name]Cora[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] (short and substantial)

[name]Henrik[/name] and [name]Honor[/name] also make a great pair.
Let me know what you think of any of my suggestions, and sorry if I seem harsh, I just have little love for unisex names on girls since many of them sound very masculine to me. I’m voicing my personal opinion, so don’t take it personal. We have different tastes in names is all ^^
[name]Cora[/name] Illyria and [name]Miles[/name] [name]Henrik[/name] would make a great sibset

arilee_sc- thank you for your opinions, I have loved the name [name]Gemma[/name] for quite some time and I agree I love how it sounds with our last name. Also, it is the one name my husband and I can agree on.

dearest- no apologies needed, that is why I posted! I don’t understand why individuals post and then get offended! Anyway, thanks for all of your input! As for Illyria, I found it at http://www.babycenter.com/baby-names-illyria-88415.htm, but can’t find a meaning or where it originated from. [name]Baby[/name] Center also has this great tool called baby name explorer, check it out!

[name]How[/name] is [name]Evelyn[/name] pronounced in the UK? This is a family name, but I think it could use an updated/fresh twist.

Out of your suggestions for girls I like: Emerence, [name]Edana[/name], [name]Rima[/name], [name]Mirren[/name]- funny you suggested [name]Calypso[/name] that is our dog’s name!

For boy’s names I am stuck on city names for boys, actually found Braddock on a commercial for Braddock Pennsylvania, [name]Sutton[/name] is a small city close to me.

Out of your suggestions for boys I like: [name]Hayes[/name], [name]Jove[/name], [name]Luc[/name], [name]Anson[/name], [name]Huxley[/name]- as for [name]Fox[/name] that is out, our last name is [name]Fox[/name]! I don’t think you’d bless us having a [name]Fox[/name] [name]Fox[/name]

Girls
[name]Gemma[/name]/[name]Jemma[/name]: Sweet, put lacks pizazz.
[name]Isla[/name]: cute! getting more trendy, though.
[name]Emery[/name]: Maybe.
[name]Sienna[/name]: Pretty but also trendy
[name]Tatum[/name]: I have trouble imagining this name aging gracefully.
[name]Eden[/name]: seems a little abrupt with your one-syllable last name
Haisley: I don’t like it personally - what is the appeal to you?
[name]Cora[/name]: beautiful.
[name]Evie[/name]/[name]Evelyn[/name]: Also beautiful.
[name]Reese[/name]: Brings some pretty specific connotations to mind
[name]Ellis[/name]: I like this e name a lot! Although [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Fox[/name] feels a little difficult to say.
[name]Honor[/name]: I like it, but not so much with [name]Fox[/name].
Irelynn: I think just [name]Ireland[/name] would be better, because this form buts the emphasis on “ire”, which is not a happy word.
[name]Henley[/name]: not feeling it personally.
Illyria: One of my favorite names! Illyria [name]Fox[/name] is gorgeous!
[name]Everly[/name]/Everleigh: Like [name]Everly[/name]
[name]Harlow[/name]: Fun and spunky
[name]Leighton[/name]: Names with “ton” are generally butchered when said out loud. You get that “Lei’on” pronunciation.
[name]Bristol[/name]: Makes me think of bristles, and therefore scrub brushes. Or boars.

Boys
Braddock: heavy on the consonants
[name]Jude[/name]: I like it, and I rather like the simplicity of [name]Jude[/name] [name]Fox[/name].
[name]Sutton[/name]: Not sure
[name]Miles[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Jett[/name]: [name]Jett[/name] [name]Fox[/name] sounds like a comic book character. Not necessarily a bad thing!
[name]Quinn[/name]: I like this name, but not as much with your last name.
[name]Hudson[/name]: Feels a little heavy
[name]Bronson[/name]: Again, heavy, especially with the one-syllable last
[name]Lennox[/name]: This would be great with a different last name. But [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Fox[/name]?
[name]Lennon[/name]: sweet
[name]Lachlan[/name]: I like it!
[name]Henrik[/name]: great name!

I would love to use family names as middle names they include ([name]Jayne[/name], [name]Lou[/name], [name]Carmen[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Winifred[/name], [name]Ronda[/name], [name]Arlene[/name], [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Earl[/name], [name]Shannon[/name], [name]Trent[/name], [name]Brett[/name], [name]Justin[/name], [name]Sal[/name], [name]Wesley[/name], [name]Wallace[/name]) Last name is [name]Fox[/name]. Open to suggestions, too!

[name]Gemma[/name]/[name]Jemma[/name] - [name]Gemma[/name], for sure. [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Fox[/name] sounds cute, and [name]Gemma[/name] is a dressier [name]Emma[/name]. Good choice.
[name]Isla[/name] - Sounds like [name]Isle[/name] of [name]Fox[/name], but it’s okay. I think [name]Gemma[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] would be good for sisters, eventually…
[name]Emery[/name] - Hm. Not my favorite surname name for a girl, but it works. For the [name]Em[/name] sound, [name]Gemma[/name] is my pick.
[name]Sienna[/name] - It’s fine. [name]Siena[/name] feels a little dressier and more elegant, but I do like [name]Sienna[/name] overall.
[name]Tatum[/name] - I’m liking this name a lot, but does it feel a bit off with [name]Fox[/name]? It could work, though!
[name]Eden[/name] - I love [name]Eden[/name]! I’d prefer something longer with your last name, but this is cute!
Haisley - No, nothing with [name]Haze[/name]. [name]Hailey[/name] or [name]Paisley[/name], maybe, but no combination, please!
[name]Cora[/name] - I’m not a huge [name]Cora[/name] fan, myself, but it does have a neat vintage vibe to it…
[name]Evie[/name]/[name]Evelyn[/name] - [name]Evie[/name] is a nickname, but [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Fox[/name] is very glamorous. [name]Eveline[/name] is my favorite, though!
[name]Reese[/name] - Nope, too short with your last name.
[name]Ellis[/name] - [name]Ellis[/name] and [name]Fox[/name] both end in a similar “S” sound, so I wouldn’t use this one.
[name]Honor[/name] - I don’t like [name]Honor[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. No, that sounds very odd to me!
Irelynn - [name]Ireland[/name] is a nice place name, but Irelynn? Too “tryndeigh” for my taste, for sure.
[name]Henley[/name] - This reminds me of a [name]Henley[/name] T-shirt, so I wouldn’t use it as a name.
Illyria - Is this a mythical place name, or did I just make that up? This one seems bound to cause trouble.
[name]Everly[/name]/Everleigh - Everleigh might be a pet peeve name of mine. [name]Ever[/name] is cool, but that -leigh ending kills me. Sorry!
[name]Harlow[/name] - I like [name]Harlow[/name] well enough, and it is better with [name]Fox[/name] than [name]Honor[/name], for example. [name]Harlow[/name] and [name]Tatum[/name]? Cool!
[name]Leighton[/name] - I don’t love [name]Leighton[/name]. There is something about the sound of it that’s rather harsh…
[name]Bristol[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Bristol[/name]! [name]Love[/name] this with [name]Fox[/name]. A winner, I think. Cool sister for [name]Tatum[/name] and [name]Harlow[/name], too.

Alright, you sort of feel all over the place for style, ma’am! I’m getting a huge surname vibe from you with [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Tatum[/name], [name]Bristol[/name], [name]Ellis[/name], [name]Leighton[/name], [name]Emery[/name], and [name]Reese[/name]. But, then you have those feminine flouncy names like [name]Gemma[/name], [name]Isla[/name], and [name]Sienna[/name], too! And, finally, you’ve got some trendy or strangely unique names, like Haisley, [name]Henley[/name], Everleigh, and Illyria. What’s your favorite style?

For suggestions, I’d recommend some longer names! For girlish ones, maybe [name]Celia[/name], [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Gisela[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Miranda[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Regina[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], or [name]Tallulah[/name]? And, then for your surnames (and some place names), maybe [name]Afton[/name], [name]Arden[/name], [name]Bellamy[/name], [name]Cameron[/name], [name]Delaney[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Harper[/name], [name]Peyton[/name], [name]Piper[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Sutton[/name], or [name]Tallis[/name]?

My favorites off your list are [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Winifred[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Eden[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Fox[/name], and [name]Bristol[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. My favorites off my list are [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Louise[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Carmen[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Miranda[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Bellamy[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Harper[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Fox[/name], and [name]Piper[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Fox[/name].

Braddock - Hm. Braddock [name]Fox[/name] isn’t the best. Would he be [name]Brad[/name] or [name]Brady[/name]? I like [name]Brady[/name], but [name]Brad[/name] is a bit 80s…
[name]Jude[/name] - [name]Judah[/name] [name]Fox[/name] is much nicer than [name]Jude[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. That’s really quite abrupt, unfortunately.
[name]Sutton[/name] - Oh, I suggested [name]Sutton[/name] for a girl. I think this is a great surname name! Yes.
[name]Miles[/name] - Nope, this is like [name]Reese[/name] for a girl. The flow just isn’t there. [name]Milo[/name], though, could work…
[name]Jett[/name] - Doesn’t [name]Jett[/name] [name]Fox[/name] sound like a stud? Yea. But, it’s too short in my opinion.
[name]Quinn[/name] - I love the name [name]Quinn[/name], seriously! But, I’m completely in love with it for a girl…
[name]Hudson[/name] - A nice place name with style and potential. This could work!
[name]Bronson[/name] - This feels like a cowboy name to me. I’ve got no idea why! I don’t love it, myself…
[name]Lennox[/name] - [name]Ah[/name], I adore [name]Lennox[/name], but with [name]Fox[/name], it’s a whole lot of X going on. What a bummer.
[name]Lennon[/name] - This is pretty cool, I’ll admit. I love the surname name for a boy or girl…
[name]Lachlan[/name] - A great name! Very unusual and strong. The flow is fine, but not amazing.
[name]Henrik[/name] - This feels a bit abrupt with [name]Fox[/name], sadly, but [name]Henry[/name] [name]Fox[/name] would be divine…

Hm. Your style is very surname-y for boys, with a tad bit of something slightly Irish and Scottish, yea? Well, I’m not sure your list is doing much for me, with your last name - otherwise, I see so many winners! Let’s suggest a few…

I could see names like [name]Archer[/name], [name]Anderson[/name], [name]Collier[/name], [name]Corbin[/name], [name]Declan[/name], [name]Donovan[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Easton[/name], [name]Garrison[/name], [name]Holden[/name], [name]Jagger[/name], [name]Leon[/name], [name]Mitchell[/name], [name]Nolan[/name], [name]Peyton[/name], [name]Paxton[/name], [name]Russell[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], or [name]Rafferty[/name] for you!

Okay, if I had to pick a name off your list, my favorites are [name]Sutton[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] [name]Fox[/name], and [name]Lennon[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. Off my list, my favorites are [name]Donovan[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Easton[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Fox[/name], [name]Holden[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Fox[/name], and [name]Rafferty[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Fox[/name].

I hope you find a perfect name! Best of luck!

[name]Lemon[/name]

Out of your list I like:
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Cora[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]

[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Miles[/name]
[name]Lachlan[/name]
[name]Henrik[/name]

A lot of your names are really trendy, and I’m not a fan of that, sorry.

I also think a lot of your girl names are far too masculine for a little girl. I’m a fan of femininity.

From your list (including your middles list) I’d pick:
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Jayne[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Jayne[/name]

[name]Lachlan[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Miles[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Henrik[/name] [name]Wesley[/name]

ayne, [name]Lou[/name], [name]Carmen[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Winifred[/name], [name]Ronda[/name], [name]Arlene[/name], [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Earl[/name], [name]Shannon[/name], [name]Trent[/name], [name]Brett[/name], [name]Justin[/name], [name]Sal[/name], [name]Wesley[/name], [name]Wallace[/name]) Last name is [name]Fox[/name]. Open to suggestions, too!

I love/like:
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Lou[/name], [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Arlene[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Eden[/name] [name]Winifred[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name]- you have me pegged, my names are all over the place! Thank you for suggesting my preference of surnames I did some further name looking and almost all the names I liked were surnames. But I do love the feminine flouncy names for girls such as [name]Gemma[/name], [name]Isla[/name], and [name]Sienna[/name]! I just can’t decide! I do think I will stick with [name]Gemma[/name] it has been a love for a long while!

Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it!

SORRY for the late reply, I thought I replied on monday, but only today found out that the post I wrote was never submitted… BAH!

It didn’t disappear though, so her it is for you!

Good
Illyria is apparently a form of Illyrios, an ancient greek mythology name… ^^

As for [name]Evelyn[/name], I think it starts like [name]Evening[/name] in the UK and more like Evolution in the US (but I might be wrong since I don’t live in either of those two…)

[name]Calypso[/name] is very fitting as a dog’s name!

Cities for boys I have very few of, but here are some place names at least (with some cities mixed in). Maybe I’ll take a look through an [name]Atlas[/name] if I get the chance in the nearest future to see if I can find some more
