Long U Boy Names?

I have found that I am drawn to boys names with a long u vowel sound. However, my husband dislikes all of my favorites. I love:

I like:

[name_m]Hubert[/name_m]

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any suggestions of other names with a long u?

(Btw, not pregnant yet, just planning ahead.)

Is it just the letter you like or the sound? Because the sound without the letter opens up more options (like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]).

[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]. Spanish option that I think is often feminine.
[name_m]Eugene[/name_m]. Old but maybe aging gracefully.
[name_m]Eustace[/name_m]. Kind of old and fusty.
[name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. Quite handsome.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. Ditto.
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]. Longer form of [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
[name_m]Julius[/name_m]. Like [name_m]Julian[/name_m], just different.
[name_m]Knut[/name_m] / [name_m]Canute[/name_m] - super Scandinavian.
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] / [name_m]Louis[/name_m]. Classic name, love this one.
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. [name_m]Luke[/name_m], just longer.
[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] / [name_m]Lucien[/name_m]. Could probably be nicknamed [name_m]Luke[/name_m].
[name_m]Lucius[/name_m]. Probably too close to Luscious.
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m]. Different spelling of [name_m]Ruben[/name_m].
[name_m]Stuart[/name_m] / [name_m]Stewart[/name_m]. Interesting Scottish option.
[name_m]Truman[/name_m]. Mr. Capote.
[name_m]Ulysses[/name_m]. A difficult name, but I find it very handsome.

There are probably more, but that’s what’s coming to mind.

What names does your husband like, that might help guide some ideas that you’d both like. I love names like this as well [name_u]Drew[/name_u] or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] are always great

Someone else just posted a thread titled Dune ? which also reminds me of Duke. I guess those are more of an ‘oo’ sound than a ‘you’, but so are most of these save Hugo and Ulysses. So if ‘oo’ is acceptable, there’s also Boone.
