I adore the nn [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]. It’s so adorable and cheery to me. Yet I hate the long forms of [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] and [name_m]Regis[/name_m]. Is there any other name I could use to get to [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]?

[name_m]Beauregard[/name_m] is a bit too fancy for me. I like [name_m]Gregory[/name_m], but can’t use it because of a personal association. Regulus is cool, I need to look up more about that name. My mom detests [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] so that’s unusable for me. Last names as firsts aren’t my faves so that rules out [name_u]Regan[/name_u] and [name_m]MacGregor[/name_m]. Thanks anyway! I do like Regulus.
[name_m]Reginald[/name_m]! It is a very pleasing word to me in sound and sight. And British, but not stuffy b.c. there is [name_m]Reg[/name_m] and [name_u]Reggie[/name_u].

[name_u]Reggie[/name_u] is very cute! The only names I can think of are [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] and [name_m]Regis[/name_m].
I had a dog named [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]. But I think it would be a great name for a boy and you should use it.
Those are great names, and I think its a great place to start. If you don’t like the sound of [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] or [name_m]Regis[/name_m] maybe another country has a spelling and sound you like better?
