I’m not pregnant (currently…) - just planning ahead!
I really like the short, sweet “[name]Elle[/name]” as a nickname, but I’d want a longer name to draw it from.
I’m not into common names for girls, so something more unusual would be preferred. The ones that come to mind for me are [name]Elsbeth[/name]/[name]Elspeth[/name] and [name]Elletta[/name]. I know [name]Elletta[/name]'s not REALLY a recognized name, but a friend invented it for a story we wrote long ago, and I yearn to use it someday. It’s so pretty!
What are some other slightly unusual names that [name]Elle[/name] could theoretically come from?
I also really like the middle name [name]Hermione[/name]. I’d probably use it, especially if I could get my husband to agree to [name]Elspeth[/name]. [name]Elspeth[/name] [name]Hermione[/name]…
I love the suggestions of [name]Ariel[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name]/[name]Elinor[/name], [name]Elora[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], and [name]Brielle[/name] (couldn’t use that last one, though…her uncle [name]Brian[/name] would always joke that we named her after him! Ha!).
It just reminds me of [name]Alyssa[/name]. I know it’s a legit name (and pretty!) but because [name]Alyssa[/name] is so much more popular, the spelling seems kinda made up.
