Thank you for all your name suggestions on my last post! I decided I might go with [name_f]Cara[/name_f], despite sharing it with a distant relative, but in the meantime, I just wanted to consider some longer names with [name_f]Cara[/name_f] as a nickname (even though it would work on its own too). Although I like suggestions like [name_f]Carina[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] for a longer name, I’m looking for something a bit more unconventional and unexpected with ‘Car’ in the middle of the name, instead of the start. I like the ideas of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] for [name_f]Cara[/name_f] as a nickname, to go off of. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
My search didn’t give me many well-established names with car in them (but not start with Car-), maybe Escarleth? Or Esclarmonde? Any Clara- name would work, maybe something like Clarissa?
Acacia- it might be a bit of a stretch
[name_f]Acadia[/name_f]- also a stretch but it’s also a car
[name_f]Catarina[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherina[/name_f]
[name_f]Erica[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] - like a crown [name_u]Vic[/name_u] but also if you scramble the letters you can get car
I recently read a book with characters named Caramenta and [name_f]Caralee[/name_f], who both went by [name_f]Cara[/name_f]! (It was a parallel worlds situation lol).
I like Caralyna although I’m not sure if its “made up.” Pronounced Car-ah-leen-ah
I also found out that Caraluna is a name. That’s so pretty.
You could also just go with [name_f]Carla[/name_f]. I find it simple but really pretty. I also love [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] (much prettier than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] to me). [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Carly[/name_f] is also simple and pretty.
You could also do Carianne/Carianna. I used to know a girl name Karianne and always thought her name was really pretty. Caridee is another one.
Carolyn would work, it could be dated but I also know a younger [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f] who wears the name well.
Catherine is kinda a stretch but could work. [name_f]Caterina[/name_f] would work better. [name_f]Catalina[/name_f] is missing the r so doesn’t really work.
