I like [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] the best. Something about it just sounds really sophisticated and sturdy…I love it. The others are okay, but sort of over the top, in my opinion. [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] “[name_u]Max[/name_u]” is actually pretty clever! I wouldn’t have thought about that but it totally works!

I voted for [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], it feels a bit more exotic and not at all stale. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] just seems a little old geezer-ish to me for some reason and just feels a bit dusty. I personally prefer [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] to all the other [name_u]Max[/name_u] versions though.

I have an ongoing love/hate relationship with [name_u]Max[/name_u]. On the one had, I love the approachable, but sophisticated and respectable feel that [name_u]Max[/name_u] has, but on the other, I’m not wild about any of its full name options. I don’t love it as a full name on its own either, but I honestly think it could work out fine.
If I ever used [name_u]Max[/name_u], I would likely end up using it alone. I do think it works for [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] though. If you already love [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], I would go with [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] “[name_u]Max[/name_u].”
I voted for [name_u]Max[/name_u] on its own – I think it’s perfectly nice as a standalone name. I like [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] best of the others. I have bad associations with [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], plus it’s always sounded like [name_u]Max[/name_u]-a-million to me which irks me a little. [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], silly as it may be, makes me think of the horse from Tangled. [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] just isn’t my style.
I like [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] the most, obviously. It honors my [name_m]German[/name_m] heritage & is fun to say! I also like [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] {S/O loves this} but wouldn’t use it on a child. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] I’ve never been a big fan of, I think it’s the -well part. I dislike [name_m]Maddox[/name_m]. I also enjoy [name_u]Maxime[/name_u], [name_m]Maxim[/name_m], [name_m]Maximo[/name_m], [name_m]Massimo[/name_m], & [name_m]Maxence[/name_m]. I don’t mind just [name_u]Max[/name_u] but prefer something longer on the birth certificate!
I voted for [name_m]Maddox[/name_m]… I think it’s a nice, modern name, and I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] works really well as a nn.
Second vote is [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. Third is for [name_u]Max[/name_u] on its own.
[name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] is not really my style, and I agree with a PP that Maxiumus makes me think of the horse from Tangled.

I voted for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. He’s debonair & smooth. But I’ll third the vote for [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m]!
i always liked [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] (see some others do too) as the long form of [name_u]Max[/name_u]. But [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] would be my second choice. I also like [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u].

I voted for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], as I think it’s the most sophisticated. I love the previous suggestion of [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m].
[name_u]Max[/name_u] is great on its own, but I also love [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_m]Maximillian[/name_m], and also the suggestion of [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m]. I think [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u] are also nice options.

I’ve actually never considered [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] as a full name for nickname [name_u]Max[/name_u], but I really like it (and I definitely prefer it to longer versions - outside of [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], I’d prefer just [name_u]Max[/name_u]).
[Can I just say too, that the names/combos in your signature are just lovely - I really like if not love near all of them.]
I like just [name_u]Max[/name_u] best. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is nice, and I like the suggestion of [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] which sounds really unique and cool. But I personally don’t care for the sounds of [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], and [name_m]Maximillian[/name_m].
