Hey everyone,
My husband is Lebanese catholic and I am purely Canadian. We are looking for a name for our baby boy that can kind of blend the two together, or an Arabic name that is more “westernized”. All suggestions are greatly appreciated
First thing that came to mind was Idris or Faris/Ferris

[name_m]Idris[/name_m] and [name_m]Zayn[/name_m] from pp are great suggestions
[name_m]Kamal[/name_m], [name_m]Rami[/name_m], Ayman, [name_m]Rafi[/name_m], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Ishmael[/name_m]/[name_m]Ismail[/name_m], Ilyas and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] came to mind
One of my oldest friends is catholic Lebanese and she named her boys [name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]. [name_m]George[/name_m] is according to her the epitome of Lebanese catholic because St. [name_m]George[/name_m] is said to have been born in Lebanon and is an important cultural and religious figure. [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is a family name and also well-used in Lebanon. I remember the likes of [name_u]Antoine[/name_u], [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] also on her list.
Seconding [name_m]Rafi[/name_m], [name_m]Rami[/name_m], [name_m]Idris[/name_m] and [name_m]Adam[/name_m]. Adding [name_u]Sami[/name_u], [name_m]Ramzi[/name_m] and [name_m]Rayan[/name_m].
