I love names that are actual words used as names. The only problem: I can’t find one that my husband will agree on. Here’s my list of names that I’ve pitched to him:
I need suggestions of boy names that I could get him to agree with! He likes [name]Landon[/name] (I do too, but it’s too popular!) and [name]Preston[/name]. I’m looking for names that are easy to say and easy to spell, but not overly popular. To give you even more of an idea of what I like - Here’s my list of girl names: [name]Sailor[/name], [name]Monroe[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Wren[/name], [name]Honor[/name], [name]Journey[/name], and [name]Ever[/name] (my husband doesn’t like any of these either!)
We already have one son named [name]Boston[/name], so I don’t want another big-city name, and I don’t particularly want another name that starts with “B”. I’m starting to wonder how I ever got him to agree to [name]Boston[/name] in the first place!
Oh, I remember how I got him to agree to [name]Boston[/name]! [name]Braedon[/name] and [name]Austin[/name] were the top two on his list at the time and I convinced him that [name]Boston[/name] was a good compromise of the two. He tends to go for trendy and trendy-sounding names too.

Have you considered [name]North[/name]? Its my favorite word name for a boy and I think [name]Boston[/name] & [name]North[/name] sound great together. The other one that came to mind is [name]Miles[/name]…not exactly a word name, but has that feel and [name]Boston[/name] & [name]Miles[/name] sound very cool together.

I’ll show him this list and see if any might work. Right now, he likes [name]Garrett[/name] the best, and I’m okay with that if I can’t find something better. I just want both my kids to have equally cool/unique names. He also likes [name]Landon[/name], [name]Preston[/name], and [name]James[/name] (Obviously we have very different taste!).
Oh, and I’ve been trying to convince him on [name]Crew[/name]. He might be wavering on it a little… There’s a little boy in my son’s preschool class with that name and he’s super cute! The other kids call him Crewie!
