Here is our short list of names for boys: [name]Graham[/name], [name]Liam[/name], [name]Miles[/name]
I’m curious to know what people think of these names generally. [name]Do[/name] they sound too trendy? Too unusual? Like a kid who’s going to get stuffed into a locker? Sophisticated? Smart? etc.
Also, our last name is [name]Mulligan[/name]. This means the end of [name]Graham[/name] or [name]Liam[/name] will blend into the beginning of the last name. [name]Miles[/name] would be alliterative. Thoughts on those issues?
My pick would be [name]Miles[/name]. [name]Liam[/name] is getting too popular for my taste. And [name]Graham[/name] doesn’t sound strong/masculine enough. I love the name [name]Miles[/name] though…and I don’t mind it with your LN
[name]Liam[/name]: [name]Liam[/name] does feel pretty trendy to me, but more importantly, the M’s in [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Mulligan[/name] flow together.
[name]Graham[/name]: I do think it’s a cool name, but can’t get [name]Graham[/name] Cracker out of my mind when I hear it. (And, as you noted, the M’s blend with [name]Graham[/name] and your last name…)
[name]Miles[/name]: I like [name]Miles[/name] (and [name]Milo[/name] a lot–A LOT), and like the ring of [name]Miles[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]. That said, this may just be me, but the popularity of [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] (and her name, [name]Miley[/name]), is ruining [name]Miles[/name] for me. I imagine that many little Mileys will be called “[name]Miles[/name]” for short. Hmm… (It’s probably just me, but I wanted to bring it up.)
Also, our last name is [name]Mulligan[/name]. This means the end of [name]Graham[/name] or [name]Liam[/name] will blend into the beginning of the last name. I agree with [name]Jill[/name] that the ending “m” of [name]Graham[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] blends too much with [name]Mulligan[/name].
[name]Miles[/name] - I really like [name]Miles[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name].
[name]Clive[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Finn[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name] - I would keep [name]Finn[/name] as a short name, not [name]Finnian[/name]. But [name]Phineas[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name] sounds good.
[name]Dexter[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name] - so cute!
[name]Hugh[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Cole[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Grant[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name] - personally, I don’t really like the name [name]Grant[/name] that much, but it sounds great with [name]Mulligan[/name]!
[name]Kenneth[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Trevor[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name] - I love [name]Trevor[/name]. Is it dated? I will look it up. [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name] have good things to say about [name]Trevor[/name].
[name]Travis[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name] [name]Mulligan[/name]
