Looking for unique Gaelic first names to go with super Italian last name

This is my third child, first boy. I am 100% Irish, my husband is first gen Italian and our last name is super long/Italian (Caa*iaa).
DD1 is [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Giuliana[/name_f]
DD2 is [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] [name_f]Silvana[/name_f].
Both girls middle names are after their grandmothers and [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] was inspired by the Gaelic Aibhlinn for “much wanted child”.

My husband wants to honor his father somehow in the name (likely middle name). Options include:
[name_m]Claudio[/name_m]
[name_m]Carlo[/name_m]

I want the kid to sound somewhat Irish so am trying to find an Irish first name that isn’t close to the top 100 and goes with the Italian middle/last names. List so far:

[name_m]Donagh[/name_m] (or Donach) (derivative of my maiden name and means “brown haired warrior”)
[name_m]Mack[/name_m] (we like one syllable names, but my sister’s kid is [name_m]Jack[/name_m])
[name_m]Hugh[/name_m]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]

The only Italian name I really like is [name_m]Gaetano[/name_m] and I love the nickname [name_m]Guy[/name_m] - again one syllable.

Would love any suggestions! Thanks in advance!

[name_f]Gemma[/name_f], [name_f]Aveline[/name_f], and

[name_u]Tiernan[/name_u] [name_m]Claudio[/name_m]
[name_m]Colm[/name_m] [name_m]Carlo[/name_m]
[name_m]Bogart[/name_m] [name_m]Claudio[/name_m]
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m] [name_m]Gaetano[/name_m] (where [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] stands in to honor [name_m]Carlo[/name_m])

I really like [name_m]Claudio[/name_m]. I like the suggestion of [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] [name_m]Claudio[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Mack[/name_m] from your list.

Thank you both  Boys names are so hard!

I’m not sure if you’re looking for very obviously Irish names or names that are commonly used in English but of Irish origin?

Here are some Irish names commonly used in English:

[name_u]Brennan[/name_u]
[name_m]Brendan[/name_m]
[name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_u]Aiden[/name_u]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_u]Niall[/name_u]
[name_u]Neil[/name_u]

Less common Irish names:

[name_m]Doran[/name_m]
[name_u]Ennis[/name_u]
Oisín/[name_m]Ossian[/name_m]
[name_m]Riordan[/name_m]

[name_m]Malachy[/name_m] - I know a couple of [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]'s who are nicknamed [name_m]Mac[/name_m]. The end syllable is pronounce as ‘key’ rather than that ‘kai’ of the similar [name_m]Malachi[/name_m].
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m] - mentioned above that also can be nicknamed [name_m]Mack[/name_m].
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]
[name_m]Cian[/name_m]
[name_m]Sean[/name_m]
[name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]/[name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]

I love [name_m]Mack[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]… especially [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. It’s perfect for what you want actually - a name well used throughout Irish history, but universal enough to go with an Italian last name.
