Lore names, Mae, and Aria

What do you think of Lorabelle or Laurabelle? I’ve always liked the sound “[name]Lore[/name]” especially as a word name. (The word [name]Lore[/name] means the body of knowledge, especially of a traditional nature or subject) This really appeals to my love of stories and writing. Names like, [name]Lorraine[/name], [name]Laurel[/name], [name]Loretta[/name], Loribeth and Loreena have always seemed really pretty to me. Are these names trendy? Dated? Awkward?

Also, [name]Mae[/name].

I really love [name]Mae[/name]. I just think it’s gorgeous. But my daughters name is 3 syllables and might look/sound odd next to such a short name. Also, the next girls middle name will have the ‘[name]Ray[/name]’ sound in the beggining… so something like:

[name]Mae[/name] [name]Raven[/name]
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Rachel[/name]
[name]Mae[/name] Raylie
[name]Mae[/name] Rayelle

Also, what do you think of [name]Aria[/name]? It is really really growing on me! I think it may be the number one choice right now. BUT my favorite combo doesn’t involve a [name]Ray[/name] name. xD My favorite combo is:

[name]Aria[/name] [name]Winter[/name]

Then, [name]Aria[/name] [name]Raven[/name]…

What do you think of [name]Aria[/name] [name]Mae[/name]? What about [name]Lora[/name] [name]Mae[/name]?

Laurabelle is interesting…kind of cute, but kind of awkward at the same time. I think I like it though! The others seem dated to me. Loribeth might be okay, but I prefer [name]Laura[/name] [name]Beth[/name].

[name]Mae[/name] is alright, but a little rhymey if you want the MN to start with [name]Ray[/name].

[name]Aria[/name] is absolutely adorable! It’s my niece’s name, so I’m not biased at all :wink: But I can’t decide whether I like [name]Aria[/name] [name]Winter[/name], or [name]Aria[/name] [name]Mae[/name] more… My niece is [name]Aria[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name].

I like [name]Mae[/name] more as a middle and I love [name]Aria[/name] [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Aria[/name] [name]Raven[/name] but don’t like [name]Aria[/name] [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Lora[/name] [name]Mae[/name]. I think I would like [name]Lora[/name] [name]Mae[/name] more if it were a longer version of a [name]Lore[/name] name. I like the sound of a lot of “[name]Lore[/name]” names too and I get your feelings towards the word [name]Lore[/name] or the sound being incorporated in the name. I’ll give you some more.
