Is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] ever pronounced loo-eas rather than loo-ez? Or is there a name pronounced like that?
I’m from the United States and I’ve only heard it pronounced as Loo-Ease. I don’t know if it changes in other countries??
Australian - only Loo -ease
[name_m]French[/name_m] mother - same
Scandanavian grandparents -same
but I would not clain to know for sure.

Loo-EES with a soft S rather than a Z sound? That’s the pronunciation of boys’ name [name_m]Luis[/name_m]. [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is pronounced with a Z, but [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] can be pronounced with an S or a Z.
