[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Hope[/name_f]? As in any of these combos, do you prefer them with [name_f]Hope[/name_f] or [name_u]Love[/name_u]?
I think the sentiment is sweet, but [name_u]Love[/name_u] is a bit too cutesy for me.
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] is my favorite from your list. Word names like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] paired with [name_u]Love[/name_u] sometimes start to sound a little like cartoon characters.
I do prefer [name_f]Hope[/name_f] in general, and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] would be my favorite!
I think it’s kind of sweet!
I prefer it in combination with “name names”, rather than “word names”… e.g. [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], rather than [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u], as the latter sounds a bit like a statement about something that is loved.
I also like the echoed “v” sound in [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] / [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u]. Not crazy about the alliteration of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u].
Yes, I do think it works even better with a triple combo, and out of the ones you wrote, I especially like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], which is gorgeous! I’d avoid ones where there are three words combined (e.g. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Love).
Same caveat with [name_f]Hope[/name_f], regarding possibly avoiding the double-word combos.
And having said all that… [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is probably my favourite combo of all. So pretty!
Yes!! Definitely love [name_u]Love[/name_u] for a sweet middle name! I know two ladies (completely unrelated from one another) who have [name_u]Love[/name_u] as their middle name, for one it was a family surname, and for another it was to match her sister’s mn, [name_f]Hope[/name_f]! So it is both a surname and a virtue name!
For combos, I love [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] for the double v sound, and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] is second! [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] is cute too, but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u] do seem a little wordy. I think it works great as a solo middle name, but as a single syllable name would also be a good second middle depending on the last name.
I adore [name_u]Love[/name_u] as a middle name!! So preciousđź’— I think I prefer it as either a second middle name, or a middle name after a first name with 3 syllables like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! But [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u] are all so cute!!
I prefer [name_u]Love[/name_u] over [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. It’s cuter. Reminds me of [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Hewitt[/name_m]. I like all of your suggestions, but my favourites are [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u].
I don’t love Love (). I just don’t love the sound enough to use it. But I appreciate that it’s a lovely thing () to bestow upon a child. I would only use it with two middles otherwise to me it risks sounding a little like a child speaking - eg Chloe love park, Chloe love teddy, Chloe Love Johnson etc. I like the longer lead in to the word Love.
Having said that, I actually like Chloe Love the most of the options, and then Lily Jane Love and Ruby Eleanor Love. So maybe it’s OK if your last name isn’t a name-sounding or name last name (eg James, Hubert, Jackson etc).
I don’t think two names needed with Hope. But in some ways, I would just pick Hope if you love the name but go Love if you’re wanting to go all out with a blessing name.
Word names have really grown on me and I think [name_u]Love[/name_u] is fab. However I think because of the cutesy vibe of [name_u]Love[/name_u] I would prefer with a longer name like [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] or [name_f]Theodora[/name_f].
I know you like short sweet first names so I think I would have [name_u]Love[/name_u] as a second middle name. I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] so simple and delicate however the shining star is definitely [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u]
Between [name_f]Hope[/name_f] + [name_u]Love[/name_u] I prefer [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is one of my favourite names.
@Mayblossom These are all so sweet! With one middle, I think they all work except [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u]. However, that is a personal preference, so take it with a grain of salt. I agree with previous posters that of your options with one middle, [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] are my favorites! Of the options with two middles, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] is my favorite.
I do strongly prefer [name_f]Hope[/name_f], but again, this is a personal preference.
I find it too cutesy and so am not a huge fan, but [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] do sound super pretty. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is also wonderful and on my long list as a mn.
What about the name [name_f]Charity[/name_f]? The word is another translation of Greek “agape”, meaning love. [name_u]Or[/name_u] other names that mean “love” could also be options. 149 Names That Mean Love | Nameberry
I love it, for me placing it in the middle almost makes it seem like its a surname (maybe because its tradition to place the mothers surname in the middle?) So it diminishes the overly cute for me.
